TNB bill in my experience pay a bit late also no problem. And you have until 5th anyway.

Thanks for the idea, din know that can schedule payments and pre keyin the TAC and still get individual payment as transaction count. too risky to do on 28 n 29 cos normally trans thru PAYONLINE will be posted 1 or 2 days later.

TAC has expiry date, can last that long?

The TAC is to give permission for a transaction, and expires within a few minutes.

Once the transaction is approved it will be executed on the given date. Not like the system gonna store the TAC for 2 weeks.

For those holding 2 cards from HLB, do we still need to go to the branch to activate the second card? I sent activation sms and it gives me a temporary pin.

No need. I only called them to activate for me.

Anyway, I received my TNB bill today and payment made on 6th via UOBPayOnline was reflected as 7th on my bill. So, there is no delay at all on TNB side.
My TNB e-services also cleared.

oh okay, so you activate thru call..problem, can hardly talk to CS. noted on tnb thumbsup.gif

add: this may sound silly but who knows they got the technology. As I have just registered for TNB e-services, will the meter reader still come to my house ? innocent.gif

of course can. the cb you received is from previous month's so no problem using it to deduct current month's balance.

I just downloaded my second statement and found that I have been charged RM5.30 statement printing fee plus GST. There is no option to select hardcopy or softcopy statement and as such they cannot simply charge without getting our consent.

Anyone else faced the same thing and managed to get it reverted?

Erm, no such thing for me. No extra charges as I haven't received hard copy statement from the beginning.

what nonsense from the bank...as an added info, last week 6 March I received SMS that I will get my statement via email effective 9 March and by 6 May they will stop sending hardcopy. I did not do click or do anything.

Then today saw that printing fee.

This seems like a strong case to file for dispute.
the bank should reverse the charges for you.

I chose "Dining" as one of me categories.

If the unbilled transaction from HLB online shows "Dining", meaning I can comfortable waiting for my 10% cashback (of course provided i hv completed the 10x swipe requirement), right?
No further dispute/argument like this "Dining" is not the "Dining" meant for cashback.

Guys, I was at nagabar changkat last saturday and I swipe Rm200 for drinks. My chosen category is dining, is nagabar considered as dining? I just checked the front page in this topic and found that nightclubs and bars is in MCC5813 ohmy.gif

Very likely it falls under 5813, if you want accurate answer, always check with CS for the MCC then they will let you know if it is eligible or not.
