CB is based on calendar month or statement date ?
*
Simple only, cash back are based on posting date.
But there's grey area on this posting date especially toward end of month. For a transaction to be posted, it may take 2-5 days, even the merchant did the settlement daily and getting money on next day afternoon.
So to make it simple for this to avoid "missed" cash back, last transaction one shall be 5-7 days before end of month, like my statement date is 28th, my latest transaction are always latest by 23rd each month. And I only do transaction again on 1st next month.
I have cases where I got on the same day posting also, That's my 1st year using that card.

For maxis use maxispay, minimum is rm30(make it rm35 to get rm4).
For Digi, I think you can use UOBpayonline.

If you can go to Sam's Groceria, you can pay your Streamyx via ePay system and earn cash rebate as it is under groceries category. biggrin.gif

Went to Sam's to pay Streamyx bill.

As mentioned before, there are 3 TM options in their system:
- TM bill
- TM Streamyx
- TM Unifi

When I told the cashier I want to pay Streamyx bill, she told me that the TM Streamyx option has error, and would not work.

As suggested by one of the forumer here before, I asked the cashier to just use the TM bill option on their system. She helped me to entermy Streamyx bill number (without the first alphabet). Everything went well at first and she even swiped my card. Towards the end, there was an error again doh.gif So in the end have to ask a supervisor to come over and void the transaction...

Anyone care to share if you have experience paying Streamyx bill? (Note: Unifi no problem <- the cashier said)

The thing is i dont have maxispay acc and UOBpayonline acc.
Can it done by hl connect(HL online system)? i've no idea how HL connect it look like.

I assumed HL connect is something similiar to maybank2u.com that everything can be done by online.
I usually paid digi or maxis bills via maybank2u by MBB 2 card. It's harassless free and got 5% rebate last time.

UOBpayonline account can be created at any 1 time.
I don't bother to use HL connect is most of the payees cannot be paid using this card doh.gif
You can see the payee, but once you choose to use card to pay, it will be grey out or not shown anymore.

Mobile always default. Petrol and Utilities are your chosen categories.

min RM50 x 10 times is for ALL types of transactions. however, we always recommend to swipe these 10x within your categories: Mobile+Petrol+Utilities to maximize cashback.

Yes, the account can be created at any 1 time for free.
As for card application, it will be 1-3 weeks, usually I prefer to apply from branch.

Maxispay is easy to register and pay. And you only need one account. I use my Maxispay account to pay me and my dad's Maxis bills, there itself can have 5x RM50 transactions already. Can save credit card details and favourite the Maxis account as well.

UOB Payonline is also easy to register and pay bills. Although sometimes slow a bit but it works.

I doubt MPSJ is under Utilities. Utilities are like water and electric. Even IWK is not under utilities.

Streamyx can pay online via MyTM.tm.com.my or JomPay.
TNB can pay online via UOB Payonline. You can use any credit card to pay your TNB bills there. I pay my TNB bills in RM50s there also.
