QUOTE(kit2 @ Nov 13 2015, 05:41 PM) you scrolled down, but didn't you see "OCBC Online Fixed Deposit Exclusive"? i know it was written "online" everywhere on the page, and very obvious cant make online placement except booking appointment (also for what reason)I didn't say they offer 4.5% for online Fd. i was lamenting they promoted in a misleading manner. |

that's the little
me same like wil-i-am, fund locked for 2yrs FD. my fd is with Affin at 4.38% p.a. rate. maturing later 2016. but last year during placement, it was the best deal. if we know FD promo reaches 4.5% p.a. for 12mth placement, i would have put 1yr placement liao of course if i know the future, i'd play toto/4d as well already. QUOTE(familyfirst @ Nov 19 2015, 02:53 PM) So stupid limit to 2-3 days only. Min 7 days la ..... cos my past experience, limit transfer online per day only 5k. 10 days transfer also total 50k only. So they didnt allow me place 50k FD, only accept 15k. I so marah I just took out all my money and go to another bank to place FD. last year MBB's IBG limit was 10k per day.i had to IBG 3 days continuously to Affin CASA, before placing the 2yr FD there on the 4th day Affin accept fund if "freshness" not longer than 5 days or so. |

QUOTE(soulmad @ Nov 23 2015, 12:43 PM) dont think so.however, when you make the placement, instruct them to credit the interest and principal back into CASA. just so happened my 2014's OCBC 12mth FD matured last Saturday, the principal+interest were automatically credited into my OCBC CASA. then i use the principal to reduce my OCBC home loan, then IBFT the interest out to Maybank |

QUOTE(techmania @ Nov 26 2015, 12:30 AM) this is NOT a conventional FD. It's Islamic Mudarabah GIA-i (General Investment Account-i), has some similarities with FD but operates differently.which part of the rate you're interested? 6.0%? or 4.5%?
