Be more realistic, Klopp can't fix everything with barely 1 month tenure.
By seeing how the team played particularly at the final third and defence, there are plenty of works need to be done, before having any chance to challenge the top 4. Frankly speaking, I don't expect anything from this season. |

Fixing in 1 month is asking too much for him..By seeing how the team played particularly at the final third and defence, there are plenty of works need to be done, before having any chance to challenge the top 4. Frankly speaking, I don't expect anything from this season. But to see the progress is pleasing enough..this season will be a roller coaster for us fans.. I'm eagerly waiting for all players to come to full fitness.. then we can challenge everyone |

like Klopp said, its better to win and we know why rather than win but dont know why
i would prefer to lose and address all the shortcoming in the final third and defense this season so we can come much, much stronger next season for the top 4. if we keep winning this season but dont know why, it will be like BR's 2nd place all over again |

Don't know about the incident but..
Pardew (and like big Sam) knows how to rile up other managers. Some says (I think he claims too) that he has shades of Klopp (the British version) the manner they celebrate goals. |

Well, the loss to CP doesn't really bother me. Klopp is working very hard to address the shortcomings.
The part I'm really upset is we got beaten by Brit manager. |

QUOTE(PPZ @ Nov 9 2015, 08:26 AM) Agreed. I enjoy watching our team playing now compare to last year and they are attacking end to end. Great stuff but still lack of finishing touches. good positive football from both side. It could have gone either way. The difference is they took their chance and we didn't.For the first goal, Emre should close down the player immediately when the opponent dribble the ball in the penalty box. The second goal, nothing can be done because the ball rebounded and nobody was there to kick the ball away. If only Benteke can reach the ball during the corner. All in all, i dont think it is that bad and it is a very positive football. From attacking and defensive point of view. Players are working harder now. I think this was the first genuine test to our high line defend, coz it was against pacey attackers who always looking to exploit the space left. QUOTE(cherroy @ Nov 9 2015, 09:08 AM) I don't understand the logic of some fans leaving early. I try to apply the same watching on tv, that is I will never switch off the telly even though it seems there is no hope for us the rescue the gameThe goal conceded was at 82 min, and still got 10+ mins to go, and just trailing 1-2, still got chance and hope to turn the match into a draw or win as well, (as it is not the like Liv played extremely bad and being dominated by opponent entirely), certainly not the like losing 0-3 against WH time. As if the logic applied, fans should leave at 3rd min when Chelsea scored last week. |

Why does Klopp keep fielding Can? I hope it's not a case of their being Germans.
Can has been making a lot of mistakes and a few goals we conceded this season can be traced back to him. He's not a bad player but he has not developed intelligence and awareness to a sufficient degree yet, thus he gets dispossessed often and make very poor passes too. What's worse is when he gets back to 'help' in defence..! Of course it's not fair to blame just one player for our defeat, but it was certainly his mistake that led to that first poor goal. With all due respect to a very good Palace team who pressed very well, ran very fast and was very intent to win, we could have at least avoided another home defeat! While the majority of Liverpool fans are still passionate, there are a minority (like at all clubs) of spectators who just want to watch their team win handsomely, all the time! |

QUOTE(RedSiglap56 @ Nov 9 2015, 03:28 PM) Why does Klopp keep fielding Can? I hope it's not a case of their being Germans. I dont think Klopp keep playing Can because of their nationalities.. Can is the only viable roaming midfielder besides Henderson (who is injured atm)..Can has been making a lot of mistakes and a few goals we conceded this season can be traced back to him. He's not a bad player but he has not developed intelligence and awareness to a sufficient degree yet, thus he gets dispossessed often and make very poor passes too. While the majority of Liverpool fans are still passionate, there are a minority (like at all clubs) of spectators who just want to watch their team win handsomely, all the time! Allen cannot fit the role because he does not have the physicality and athleticism that Can has.. Rositter is still so young to play the role..unless we buy someone in Jan for this role, then Can will have a challenge.. Yes the first goal was Can's fault..But the 2nd conceded goal occur because we took off Can and bring in Firminho; which is an attacking player (and not a very physical player to challenge the ball in the air) that contributed to the goal where Firminho is overwhelmed by Scott Dann.. Palace gave us a good challenge yesterday..Henessey was spot on, their defence was solid and their attacking trio was really a pain in the ass.. We will get to our winning ways, just give JK your support.. it has been a BIG improvement since he took over from BR.. |

I believe he can learn, mind that despite his look of maturity, he is only 21. Moreno also made similar mistake last year, but cut down a lot since after Klopp took over. I believe this kind of mistake can be cut down with proper defensive side of coaching. Whenever ball arrived in penalty box, you hoof it far far away, don't hold the ball or try to tiki taka. |

seems like European manager have a tendency to go zonal marking than man marking during set piece? Commentator commented so many times that the big guys were unmarked during corner
