- After 8 games there was no sign of improvement, thus he was sacked.

Therefore, I think the benchmark for FSG is that if the players bought are recommended by the manager then the squad must show progress in whatever way within more or less 8 games...

To me its a great game. Very assuring performance compared to a cautious approach before.

To my eyes, its quite pretty and watchable. Full throttle continuous attack in their half. The transition from defend to attack pretty quick, no time wasting.

Personally I was quite amused at how we play now, given that it was basically the same team with same players. But the tactic, style and approached have changed. Watching Sakho marshaling our defend is just pleasing. Its the change in those little basic things that pleased me, our passing more assured and accurate, receiving the ball, our DM rushing to cover up mistakes made by team mates, how everybody showed more urgency when being counter attacked.

good positive football from both side. It could have gone either way. The difference is they took their chance and we didn't.

I think this was the first genuine test to our high line defend, coz it was against pacey attackers who always looking to exploit the space left.

I try to apply the same watching on tv, that is I will never switch off the telly even though it seems there is no hope for us the rescue the game
