New rig. Budget rm4000-rm4500. Pure gaming. Want to try latest games. 1080p above.

Already got monitor, mouse, keyboard.

If can fit with latest i5 or i7 Skylake and Gtx970 will be nice.

Small Form Factor. For mobility. I travel quite a lot.

Hey I need a new build. I'll be leaving my old one to my parents.

My budget is below 3.5k. I don't play high spec games, just Dota 2 and CSGO. The only parts which I can reuse is my mouse and keyboard.

I prefer a 120hz monitor btw. An Intel CPU and Nvidia GPU.

I plan to get it by early February.

I don't plan on going any higher than 1080p/60fps but still want max details so please comment and give suggestions especially if there are better and cheaper alternatives.

I haven't really set a budget yet. I'd like to see where this goes and cut down from there if it seems overkill.

I did consider the 6600k but then I'd need a 1151 motherboard. Does a 1151 mobo fully support DDR3 RAM? Will there be any drawbacks to the other hardware I've chosen by getting a 1151 mobo?

I have almost zero knowledge about building a gaming PC until the last past 12 hours or so of googling on building a gaming PC. So please advise..

Guys, do you think RM1500 is sufficient to build a gaming rig to withstand games like CS:GO and DotA 2?

Nope. I haven't bought anything yet. I read that Intel warned about using DDR3 with Skylake can damage the processor. Skylake only officially supports DDR3L. I'd go DDR4 but still too expensive.

Fine. Skylake it is then. Now a question of i5 or i7. i7 may not be very beneficial for gaming but I'm also interested in going 60fps watching movies. Will i7 be worth it?

Missed a word there. I meant what MoBo would you recommend. SLi capable would be nice or do you think a single GPU setup is good enough.

Hi and good morning senpais. I would like to get some suggestions in building PC..

Mainly I just want to build a PC where I can play in high setting (not ultra high) games as stated..
I don't play those console-like game..Only online MMORPG games.
I guess I don't need to spend much for the PC to achieve high setting and have a good FPS (no crispy when playing with
many people and recording)

Currently I am playing with my laptop..Having 20FPS averagely is..tearing me apart.

Also I like to use two monitors to separate game and browsing. If needed, I can squeeze a  few hundred RM if it is necessary (up to +RM500)
