Anyone know how the hell this ended up being subscribed? I can't even find any messages from 23288 in my phone and its not on my block list. This is Maxis scamming us at its core. If never found out, they scam RM 120 from each customer per year. Utterly ridiculous!

I just called Maxis helpline and the lady said she cannot help cancel it. Need another department to call me back. So damn difficult to cancel this thing.

maxis always have this problem

this month ask maxis to terminate the service, next month auto subscribed back the service

yet maxis say it's me who subscribe the service myself, no refund given.

I use the sim in usb modem, how daheck i subscribe the service

every month need queue live chat, waste time and so troublesome to get the refund back

i stop using maxis ever since

Please remove and refund the money if it was charged to my account.

I also suddenly receive this unsubscribe SMS spam.
How to lodge a report to Maxis online?

I never subscribed to Linguisto yet Maxis has charged me RM5 for that

I have called the careline number (123) to lodge a report.
Maxis/ Hotlink will refund the charges in my next bill.
They also blocked the short number 23283 (in my case)

This kind of scam been happening since a decade ago but MCMC and telco dont want to solve the problem but still continue allowing them to do it …

These scammers merely using software to fake our numbers to subscribe to the service.

To be honest who will still use shortcode to subscribe content anymore in 21st century. Telco and MCMC merely opening loop hole for scams to exist by allowing charging via shortcode.

I think if we dont complain in a way telco also earn some $$ from those scammers thats why keep quiet….

I also got this UGZ subscription since beginning of March, I have never subscribed to this service.
This is a scam and Maxis is not taking any action, despite reporting to them.
