In term of capability, Lumia 950 / 950 XL is far superior than Lumia 925. The latest update, the phone overheating seems better managed, but I do get the warm feeling when using the camera or when charging. In the previous build, it was quite hot out of nowhere.

guys, may I know what it means by IMPORTED ? because I saw a couple of people selling 950xl at a very cheap price but it says imported. Does it mean we need to unlock it first ?

it means the devices were intended for other countries

should not be locked, but check whether dual or single sim

warranty, if any, might be hassle too

this is another thing, I just notice that this device comes with single sim and dual sim option. And im more interested in single sim. But, it is save to buy this imported phone ?

Are you referring to the listings on 11street? I recall someone buying an "imported" 950XL from 11street a while ago, and there were no issues at all. Should be relatively fine, I guess. That seller has majority positive reviews.

yes u are right. But the thing is, the shop is not in Malaysia, but in China. Plus they sell it on lazada too. Do you think it safe ? That person who bought the imported 950xl, is he a member of lowyat forum ?

IMHO, the price differential make sense to take the gamble. If price gap is small, better to pay for local set with warranty.
