I am running Windows 10 on my 640xl n I find his comments tend be over exaggerated
It is always easy to run down any phone if one doesn't like it !!

Price of the 950XL had indeed came down based on several web reports
I just order my 950XL for RM 2439 from 11th street : initial report from their Facebook was supposedly to be RM2649!!

Anyway I had been buying so many imported phones - such issues never bother me at all !! All had been working well on local bands ( imclusing LTE)
As I see it, Only significant difference will be warranty - need to go back to seller only

Is it possible to restore my Android whatsapp chat details backed up onto Google servers over to the 950XL ??
11th street is quite efficient...I order on 17jan n phone sent out on 18jan n based on Gdex details phone will reach my place today!! So probably I could get it later this evening or tomorrow

Received my unit...immediate impressions it boot up way very much faster than my other 640XL ( on Win 10)
Will be posting up for sale the 640xl!!

Seriously there is nothing great on user experience. I had previously used the 640 XL on Windows 10 too
Only this 950XL being higher specs, performance is slightly better
All the problems of Windows 10 is still there
I bought this phone merely to assess how much better Win 10 is on the 950 XL
Versus Androids and IOS, Windows has a long, long way to catch up especially on apps quality
I would rate my satisfaction factor of using a Windows phone as 5 vs a 9 for Android, a 8 for IOS

I will get the dock later just to test it out

Through insider app I had upgraded the firmware from 10586.29 to 10586.63
I didn't notice any significant changes in usage yet
Is my habit and whether is good or bad ,I always need the latest firmware on all my phones

Battery life remains average as before
As it is not my main phone , this is least of my worries!!
For a SD810 chip seriously app loading so much slower vs even a SD650 Android
Well I just need to get used to its "slowness"

Wonder why such an useful feature was taken off?
Anyway I find the placement of the power button as inconvenient in between the volume keys
For its price the quality of these buttons is terribly poor!!

Actually vs other SD810 phones I had used ( One plus two, MI Note Pro n Nexus 6P) the so called pipe cooling is a big fail. The phone is so obviously warmer than the 3 phones I just mentioned.

Just updated my 950XL to latest firmware 10586.71
Well I hope this bring better improvement to the phone
Though its app quality is generally poorer than androids I had manage to install most of the app I needed
