There should be some degree of free play. But not too much. If you are hearing a rattling sound when you let go throttle, it means there is excessive free play. Just tighten the actuator by adjusting it. DO NOT TIGHTEN TOO MUCH. If not the car will sense there is too much boost and will show CEL and your car will be on limp mode.

xyl auto in jb. Mostly peugeot n citreon cars. I dunno about SC , he would only use total eneo ecs for turbo . Most of the parts are singapore import . I was suprised when he showed me the oil filter used in previous SC service was imitation.

I do not think is normal. If normal means every THP should have it right? Coz most of the 308/408 that i see and sat in and hear, dont have the sound. I used to have this sound but SC and some ppl say is normal. But after i adjusted, now i dont have that rattling sound when i release gas, when driving or when in neutral.

I doubt it normal la bro. Looks like SC is ignoring the problem.

Try another SC.  Balakong was the technical nerve center. I don't know how good they are now. Give them a try.

Has anyone among 408T owners changed their suspension (lower arm + absorber)?

The tyre mechanic told me there's a crack at lower arm bush due to weak absorber as he claimed. (Not sure how true this is). He advised to change the lower arm + absorber (OEM German made absorber + ori lower arm) at about RM2.5K.

Advice from all sifus is needed here.

One of the criteria when I was looking for a car was steering feedback & feel. I tested 6 cars & decided I liked the feel from the 408t best. It was the most precise of the lot. I did not appreciate the hollow feel on Jap cars, Korean cars were a bit better.

It is true, it may be a little too much and  driver tends to feel all those road irregularities. However  this excellent feedback provides higher level of confidence during fast corners, as the feel is much more precise.

This time the SC was on the dot la bro, it is normal 

Your aircon problem may be due to evaporator loosing cooling efficiency. SC is not equipped to handle this problem,you have to look for aircon specialist. Evaporator is not easy access on Pugs!

Coolant level at Min will not cause temp. rise. However it is adviserable to topup. You should get level low waning if coolant drops too low, but I wouldn't wait for that.
 
From day 1 for 4 years I have been complaining about coolant level drop. SC  reply all this while has been,  "checked no leak" and they topup coolant. They never answered my question "if no leak,where does the coolant go". My drop in level is about 10mm in 6 months. I have always suspected water pump and suggested to SC. SC come up with same reply " checked no leak".

Under the enhancement package water pump was changed. Guess what, my coolant level is constant now, no drop. It's only 3 months since the enhancement work, so I'm keeping a close watch.

It is possible to develop hairline cracks on heat treatment process( harding process of metal parts) during manufacture. I believe Peugeot QC picked out the flaws and proceeded with the enhancement package world wide. I value this effort by Peugeot greatly. It is certainly not an effort to falsify figures or delay tactics on impending defects.

Never heard of this problem with any version of Prince engine. 408 version (ep6cdtm) is one of the more reliable variants!

My 5th year, running very well. After enhancement package, feels like new, fc has improved too! Just changed all four tyres, what a joy to push this lion on twisty roads. Top notch handling,completely forgot it's a sedan till I got out!

Cheapest way is to use toothpaste to wipe it, can help a bit.

My ex 308 headlamp like that and SC Glenmarie let me claim warranty. Try ask and see.

Front headlamp plastic cover fogging up. Replacement part for the plastics where to source? The fogging more like the material itself is cracking

Can you check the 40-50-60k km services cost ? I attached is the latest V3 , it seem at 40k km is 1200++ at  50k km is  RM 1200 +  and qt 60k KM is 1200k Km
From the initial understand is 50k km to 60k km is a major services. Can anyone confirm this is the latest it seem abit overkills
