What is the symptoms of bad rear wheel bearing ?

Compressor was replaced under warranty. But SC says better to change condensor at the same time. Or else it wont last.more than 2 years. So condensor i had to pay for it. That is why i paid rm1.2k only.

The theory is small rusted parts from compressor may fall into condensor. If condensor is not replaced too, the small rusted parts will eventually kill the compressor again.

I did google when they told me this. It seems like changing condensor is a good idea since compressor is free. Hehe.

Amost a year ago (August 2016) my aircond (408 NA bought on August 2012) was not cold and managed to get cooling coil replacement under waranty within 2-3 weeks process at SC Desa Pandan (closed now).

Now just today (16 May 2017) my aircond does not blow any at all. All SC are full and can only start check next few weeks. Warranty will expire in next 2-3 months. Contemplating to send this to SC due to long awaiting time. May I know a good aircond shop outside that can repair this?

Last Wednesday I was at Glenmarie & did asked about compressor (for 408 NA type). They said shipment already on the way & expect 2 weeks to arrive. Glad mine wasn't due to compressor (they said identified enhancement on this only for 408 turbo) and later found out aircond blower motor was at fault.

You are right, its good to identify independent  Peugeot workshop for after warranty work. Now there's a few in the klang valley.

Anyway the 7year warranty is going to be implemented soon,this will end the controversial EWP. It is Peugeot France that is pushing for the 7year manufactures warranty.

Bro, have u check if your car under recall for compressor & cooling coil? Cuz yday I done my 90k service they told me mine have recall but the issue is that I've got my cooling coil replaced few months back so I'm doubtful my recall still valid..

Note changing compressor alone is not sufficient,consenser must also be changed. This shop proved it to me. My condenser was removed and tested. It was 40% blocked & leaking.

With Peugeots, to remove condenser, whole dashboard & steering must be removed. I was worried will end up with tikus sound when dashbôard is assembled. Happy to say, no tikus sound , did 100km yesterday.

Well that's the case with SC, they'll only change immediate item. He did condenser check and proved to me why it should be changed. Mine was 40% blocked & slight leak. If I continue to use this condenser, it will affect the new compressor.

I suggest go to this shop. Ask him to check your condenser. If not in good shape, get it changed. It will eventually affect the compressor . Condenser cost is $1200. Better than paying $4k,for condenser + compressor, later when out of warranty.  He did say new price on compressor will be up 10%.
