Can I request my full academic transcript now or do I have to wait until I finish my internship? Diploma students here.

Your internship status will be reflected in the final transcript so you need to complete it first. Having said that, I think you should be able to request for a transcript displaying the current subjects and results. Better check with ERU.

How is everyone? It's going to be 1 year now since your last presence at the campus. Missing it already?

Is this year still going to be online learning? What are the procedures for Covid for international students? Should you get vaccinated?

The plan is to start F2F in Trimester 3. So far there is no revision to this plan. Still depends on the current pandemic situation in the country.

I would suggest you to contact International Office (IO) or STAD to inquire for international students.

Which campus are you based at?

No, my schedule is a bit weird compared to other since I am a November intake student

My academic plan is FYP 1 > internship > FYP 2

About the food parts, actually I looked at food panda and found out most of them are still hanging around , so maybe after this pandemic I will go back just to eat them

Hello MMU alumni

i have question pursuing my degree in MMU

I’m very interested in Computer Science AI (Artificial Intelligence) but i have 1 problem i’m bad at math i got an F in high school then i took diploma in EE and manage to get 3.34 gpa (i got C for my math in EE) for my diploma but i don’t have passion anymore in EE.

I’m very interested in Computer science AI and also Computer science Software Engineering and i being doing some research about both of it like 5 months like i’m really into it idc if i have to sit all day looking at computer in my future career.

So my question is am i manage to get a good grades in computer math (discrete math, calculus etc...) for my degree in CS i’m really want to learn it but i scare that i’ll be fail in the first sem because of math then my mara or ptptn kena tarik some more sad.gif

Sorry for the really late reply,

FYI i also failed my Math T during my STPM years , now i am in my 3rd year AI student (last 2 semester)

i can tell you, if u really cannot handle even the first year of the degree, i think its very hard for you to continue , the first year is mainly just for the basics , i do struggle because i am weak at my basics

but seems you are getting good grades in discrete math, calculus, i think you can be less stressful and easily allocate more time toward other subject which you don't have confidence in.

unlike me ( bad at most of the math and i must throw 2x the time to fix my math)

For me myself, i don't really believe you can't get above CGPA 3.0 in the first year since i can do it

if you
1)Do all tutorial question yourself
2) Study before every quiz
3) Don't sleep while in class
4) Do past year question
5) ask question if you don't understand
6) never do you work at the last minute mark

*since now is online classes, my concentration is not as good as in real classes
to tackle that i record all the classes for easier reference.

the above list seems easy to do, but in real life i see many people fail to do that

some of them keep asking the same question again even after the lecture just explain it
for me i think these people can pass the subject with pure luck only and it won't last long

always remember lectures are there to help you pass the subjects, not fail the subjects

i’m was not meant to said that i managed to get good grades for my in discrete math and calculus. I was meant to say that will i survive discrete math and calculus even if i work hard i mean sometimes this type of math is not for everyone but i really want to pursue this degree

Im sure everyone had a experience with calculus in SPM and STPM right? correct me if i’m wrong. I don’t take SPM btw i took diploma vokasional malaysia (DVM)

sure i learnt math back in my diploma years but i don’t think my math level in diploma is near as SPM or STPM which makes me curious if i able to take Computer Science

Btw i’m interested in CS software engineering as it’s more easier than other CS (AI,DS,GD,Cybersecurity) i think?

what do you think? smile.gif
