After thinking about Unifi upgrade for the past week or so, I was thinking of going for 10 Mb. BUT the new package a few mins ago has changed my mind! 30 Mb at 179 + 20 (my wife makes >RM100 calls per month).

So for a slow rider with 2 Mb for the past few yrs, the 30 Mb will blow our minds at home surfing! Luckily they don't issue speeding tickets for internet traffic! Ha.

I assume that marketing people will not be calling customers now with even better offers eg free calls with the 179 package. Maybe after this promotion is over,  they will throw in some freebies to encourage people to upgrade.

hi, need to clarify, as far i know, high rise building using copper cable. if im subscribe to this new plan 30mbps, can i get full speed?? what is the maximum speed support by copper cable?

On renewal at the end of the 2 yrs, it will be renewed on monthly basis. BUT no price is mentioned. Hope it is continuation of the contract price. Ha.

To add, the Advance 50mbps (both Persona/BIZ) has an upload speed of up to 10mbps. This actually, is more than enough for any consumer based activity. Online gaming is of zero issues, not counting the usual TM ping screw-ups every week. But if you like to stream your gaming sessions to twitch or youtube, 10mbps is indeed enough for 1080p streams as well.

Otherwise, if you are uploading content as a content creator (say youtube) and need a symmetrical upload, TM is still offering the old BIZ50 and BIZ100. Obviously damn expensive but that's up to you to weigh out the cost and if your content is earning you money. That said, our neighbour has 100mbps symmetrical for a similar price of our "Advance" plans lol. 

Yeah, that's why I said 10mbps is enough for 1080p streams. I used to do it before going to BIZ20.

That is not correct. Just upgraded to Unifi Biz Advance Plus 50Mbps and the upload speed is 10Mbps actually.

Got a few people move to Maxis.. Applied for Maxis, the installer just come fix everything.. Later, the user go to terminate the unifi. Zero downtime..
