Not all uses free calls, I never install the phone at all.
I was from VIP 10 and reduced my upload speed to 5Mbps from 10Mbps. So far acceptable for me as most of the time I only use it to upload photos and email attachments. 5.5Mbps upload speed is enough for me. Yes, my Speedtest always shows 5.5Mbps for upload.

For me, it is not a dump. Well, everyone has different preference.

but i got a question.
router and modem will be at the living room, but my tv is in room.
so can i put the set top box in my room? or it is a must to put near the router?

In dilemma, found out that my devices is ageing. The Set-Top-Box seems lagging. Not too sure, whether to upgrade or cancel and retrieve the new equipments.

can i ask the installer to pull the modem into my room? is it connect by using the telephone line?

Do we get to pick the numbers then? Strange enough, 100 told me that I'm not eligible to upgrade package that have a same value. For instance, my current package is VIP20 RM229, after RM20 discount, and I'm not allowed to go for Unifi Advance 30.

FYI....i went to TM DU today. Wanted to terminate my VIP5 & register for the new UNIFI30...CS told me that i don't need to terminate my old line. Only when the new installation complete, i can then terminate it. I live in high rise (condo).

can i install the new one using existing fiber (acc still active)? i don't want them to drill a new hole
then only i terminate the existing one, no problem paying the old acc one extra day or two

No advance payment or installation fees but CS told me there's additional fees for new registration but i forgot what it was. It should reflect in the new bill. Basically u do not need to pay anything up front.

Hello, so just recently was upgraded to Unifi 50mbs but when using wifi the download speed would be 26-28mbs and while using LAN cable it would be at 50+ mbs.. does anyone know what could be causing the problem?

btw still using the default router that tm gives from years ago when first install..

besides router is new & updated, what else is new? the cordless phone is still from panasonic? what about the btu and stb? the old stb pretty sucks though, i'm looking for the latest which i heard is android based?
