How to arrive at that page seeing that income tax is already deducted from our salary?
*
maybe for those wanted to pay RPGT or pay not enough income taxes thru MTD via salary deduction?

Guys, the last date to pay insufficient tax (PCB not enough) is April 30th but the last date for e-filing is May 15th.

Is there somewhere contradicting?

LOL, perhaps they would revise the last day of paying the taxes to end of May instead.

no

30 april is for manual submission

e filing users gets an extra 15 more days

that's been the way since few yrs ago, from the time where most people submit the tax returns manually, by post or by hand

We're talking about last date to pay tax difference for e-filing users.

Not last date for BE and/or e-BE submission

For YA 2016, there is also a new tax relief for your PARENTS

you can claim RM 1,500 PER PARENT (RM3k for both) that you help to take care (provided that the PARENT dont earn more than rm24k annually)
*
Pension received from parents is equals to annual income too right? :/
That means if pension exceed 24k = cannot claim?

Help guys! If i am an employee for a company and i do part-time business (registered as sole-proprieter) , should i do e-filing for part time business and if yes which borang? Borang e-be (tiada punca perniagaan) or borang be (ada punca perniagaan)?

I tried borang be but it says: ""Anda telah menukar jenis borang dari e-BE kepada e-B. Semua maklumat pendapatan dan HK-6 (sekiranya ada) akan dihapuskan.
Sila klik OK untuk teruskan atau klik BATAL untuk membuat pilihan e-borang yang lain.""

while waiting for responses, I googled and found this....
hope it is clear and valid.
"If you have your own business, you should register as ‘Individual with business income‘ even if you’re still employed – ideally you should have your business registration information and certificate ready. See #2."

Weird question, what's the earliest you can pay tax via online for the year? Just checked the hasil.gov site, can't pay for 2019 yet.

Hi guys, just paid for my 2018 tax a month ago, newbie tax payer here.

my company just gave us the new 2019 TP1 form, and I know it's optional to submit or not. Last year, after deductions I get RM400+ tax relief back.

Do I need to submit the TP1 form?

I am very confused that "terkumpul" and "bulan semasa" means. If say my total medical insurance is maxed out at RM3000 per year but this month itself I only pay RM300, does that mean RM3000 at "terkumpul" and RM300 at "bulan semasa"?

Also, since it asks me to fill which month+year, so it will only affect this particular month (e.g. May 2019) and not the other months (Jan-Apr and June-Dec 2019)? If yes then what's the point to just fill in once per year :/

Please enlighten me sifus, I tried to google but can't really find any definitive answer.

TP1 Form is optional.

It is usually used by people that have significant tax relief executed that will impact their Potongan Cukai Bulanan (PCB), thus following months' PCB will be reduced.
eg.
Jan PCB paid $3K
Feb PCB paid $3K
..
Jun PCB paid $3K
Filed TP1 form for tax relief of $XX,XXX
Jul PCB paid reduced to $0.6k
Aug PCB paid 0.6k
etc for the calendar/tax year

Personally, my yearly over-payment and claim back isn't HUGE, thus, didnt bother with TP1 though penny-pinchers and maximizers may want every cent back before the next year's filing biggrin.gif

And until IRB tells you that you are B, you should still consider yourself BE when it comes to submission dateline

Oh I see, that is clear. I don't have that much of tax relief as well, so i guess I won't bother then. Last year only got RM400+ tax return after PCB so that's alright for me.
Better than underpaid.

For broadband relief please make sure you look at your invoice on the correct item for eg in Unifi bill they separate out:
- Residential High Speed Internet (u can only claim this!)
- unifi TV Residential (this hypptv cannot)

1. Parents relief.
What to ask, if my parents have income, then can I still claim the RM3k parent relief?

2. What is a "full medical check up"?
I Googled. The hospitals provide so many types of health check packages. Which one is considered "full" check-up?

3. Education. This one is weird.
Education Fees (Self)
(i) Other than a degree at Masters or Doctorate level-for acquiring law, accounting, Islamic financing, technical, vocational, industrial, scientific or technological skills or qualifications;
(ii) Degree at Masters or Doctorate level-for acquiring any skills or qualification

Wouldn't (ii) overried (i)?
(i) says law.. accounting, cannot claim.
(ii) says everything can claim.
