Hi,

If I want to withdraw from my ASB today (Saturday), how can I do so? Because Maybank close today right?

I hope the new ASW2020 passbook would be better quality than ASM passbook.

the new ASM passbook looks kinda "cheap". I like the old one. paper quite thick & good quality  rclxms.gif

Physical passbook is an antique regardless of how sexy outlook was designed. Maybe, some folks appreciate it.

ASNB lives in a half developed high-tech world. Long time ago, they should allow us buy, sell and check online directly.

wah all tis time agents can "view" the available quota yet they told us cannot "view", need to try luck  mad.gif  vmad.gif

yeah, the "frequent occurrence of questionable practices" at agents banks are there. most of us can confirm it  nod.gif

but ASNB branch needed to bring cash. high risk

allow me to say. i'm believe what they said agent can check the available quota, might be many many years ago.

base on my experience, since 6 years ago until today, while i trying my luck to open ASM, even some bank shows the asnb pc to me of there's message of "unit telah habis dilanggan" to prove that the unit is not available. those tellers told me of bank really not able to check available quota

I thought it will only be carried out on business hours only?
Eg, if one perform a transaction at 8PM on Monday, the transaction will only be processed on Tuesday morning. Is that right?

Banks will execute online transaction based on their default 'cut-off' time

That's what I thought. Cause no way if one buy at 8PM, bank will process the transcation that night itself.

because i'm not really believe ASNB headquarter's operation counter can check the quota available for fixed-rate product. in the past, i'm often felt disappointed of often rejected when i requested to open ASM
*
All ASNB branches can check availability of units, not just the headquarter. For banks, they would have to try. If rejected, means no units available. Sometimes, the bank officers would just say no Unit available, because they're too lazy to try.

You don't have to bring cash la. bank draft is also acceptable. And normal cheque as well. Proof here, http://www.asnb.com.my/v3_/asnbv2_3service...laburantambahan

Really? You can do that at ASNB? Banks told me they don't accept banker's cheque. Only cash or direct debit from account. Maybe is only applicable at ASNB.

before i start my next question, allow me to ask u. are u 1 of ASNB office staff?

I'm working at PNB, not ASNB. But well it is in the same building, and many of my friends are in ASNB. And we do work very closely with each other anyway. ASNB does the marketing, gets the money and gives it to PNB to be invested. smile.gif
