QUOTE(ohcipala @ Nov 2 2015, 06:49 PM) Tun, I don't pay income tax. Go figure how much I make per year What is truesavers? And I already have truesavers. Setting aside 50% of salary is not easy. Any more money saving tips? As for me, every mth i will set a side an amount as savings lets say rm800 frm my salary. Then only expenses will be minus frm the balance. If there is remaining, it will go to my savings. These savings will be channelled to asx and ut. Anymore tips to save more. Ramjade, do u have any commitment like hse loan or car loan? |

QUOTE(Ramjade @ Nov 3 2015, 09:57 AM) Truesavers is a SA which gives 2.8% p.a regardless how much you have inside. No minimum amount, no need for monthly topup. So instead of your RM800 sitting inside a negligible interest saving account, at least by the end of 1 year. You get more money than if you put in normal SA. Can earn about RM20. Truesavers offered by which bank?No I don't have. However I would recommend getting the fuel efficient perodua. Not sure what model it is. No need to waste money buying expensive imported cars when end of the day, both will depreciate in value. Car price should be total your 1 year salary. When you are done with college, then more commitments are coming to your way unless all sponsored by parents |

QUOTE(Ramjade @ Nov 6 2015, 03:18 PM) My cousins was on ptptn, they still can buy a car and a house before they get married. Father taxi driver, mother housewife. Don't ask me how they did it. Able to buy a car, buy a house and get married all within one year. They loan from family members so no need to pay banks for house loan. Fyi, they just started to include this info in CCRIS system.I understand. One needs to be loan free in order to start saving more. A loan will severely affect one's cash flow. Few friends of mine working in Sg. When u are leaving out of Msia, system will be triggered and you are barred frm going out till u settled some outstanding amt If u see the online statement, u will notice that the interest os quite high too. But up to the borrower whether to pay but eventually borrower got to do somethg abt it. And alsl they are hunting your current employer. Malu la later |

QUOTE(nonameface @ Nov 6 2015, 03:41 PM) @Ramjade, 90% on asb? omg. you guys really have confident in this. A lil skeptical tho, seems to good to be true la, worse thing i scared is cannot withdraw or limited withdrawal in case something goes wrong when everybody withdraw. Then again, i dont know much, just started found about ansb and open account a month ago. lot to learn. My humble opinion is by paying rm50, you are serving the interest which will be accumulating more and more. Better pay more im under ptptn as well, i pay rm50 every month to avoid getting my name blacklisted. |
