Really? You can do that at ASNB? Banks told me they don't accept banker's cheque. Only cash or direct debit from account. Maybe is only applicable at ASNB.
*
You must've missed the attachment in my post. Yup only at ASNB branches, not agents!

"Pelaburan melalui cek atau bank deraf atau Banker's Cheque hanya boleh dilakukan di ASNB Kaunter Utama Kuala Lumpur atau cawangan ASNB beroperasi penuh."

But at agents, say like Maybank. Assuming you have an account with Maybank, you could always fill up two forms, one form to withdraw from maybank, one form to deposit into ASNB funds. And the teller would just transfer the money from your Maybank account to ASNB funds. So no need to bring cash to the banks either.

You don't have to bring cash la. bank draft is also acceptable. And normal cheque as well. Proof here, http://www.asnb.com.my/v3_/asnbv2_3service...laburantambahan

the last time they accept my bank draft is when there's opening for new subscription.

gave the bank draft & ASx passbook to ASNB. keep there for 1 week. then only collect it later.

after that all cash transaction only until now blush.gif

All ASNB branches can check availability of units, not just the headquarter. For banks, they would have to try. If rejected, means no units available. Sometimes, the bank officers would just say no Unit available, because they're too lazy to try.
*
hmmm, maybe this is a new thing. cus the last time i went during the time where a lot of units available, the person opened ASM for me but later said ASW no more.

allow me to say. i'm believe what they said agent can check the available quota, might be many many years ago.

base on my experience, since 6 years ago until today, while i trying my luck to open ASM, even some bank shows the asnb pc to me of there's message of "unit telah habis dilanggan" to prove that the unit is not available. those tellers told me of bank really not able to check available quota
*
as my early post mentioned, some bank did shows their pc to me with the message of "unit telah habis dilanggan". they did try for me on the spot instead of reject at the 1st place without trying to deposit. that's why i'm really curious of ASNB branches can check the unit available

You might be interested in fixed price over variable price. Why go for variable price when you have stuff such as fsm.

Mr Gray. I have one question that will arise massive interest here hahahahaha

Is PNB still heading positive and how is your professionals view on current market thus how PNB will gain in the favour of investors which will directly or indirectly to strengthen the relation between the investors and PNB it self?

Haha. 2014 and 2015 have been two very challenging years for PNB. Nevertheless, as we are quite a conservative investor, crisis years have often meant opportunities to accumulate stocks at bargain prices. We have the flexibility in difficult times, as we have huge rainy cash reserves. Besides, PNB itself has a big proprietary fund that has been growing since the past 30 years.

PNB is a long term investor, and we are more interested in the cycles of the stock markets rather than the short term ups and downs. Nobody can know for sure, when is the peak and the bottom, but 30 years in the industry have taught us quite well.

And of course we can't afford to do the same thing forever, and expect different results to materialise. We are not living in normal times, and PNB has been too conservative for far too long. Difficult times call for drastic measures. Something very interesting is coming soon, probably in the first quarter of 2016. smile.gif

The bolded sentence sounds bad. sad.gif Only thing I can think of:
a) Launch of a new asx FP with foreign investment
b) Conversion of one of the ASX FP to FV sad.gif
