I am not sure which Getrag model it is using. I am gonna make assumptions that Getrag's naming where the first number refers to number of gears so I am assuming that Proton Iriz is using the 5MTT170 model which has a max torque of 170 Nm. 1.3 iriz has 130 Nm while 1.6 has 150 Nm.

I do sometimes have this issue. I would assume its the air from outside masuk. Btw earlier when I was fuelling up, when I max the pump speed, the little hole at the fuel area kept spitting out fuel. I had to reduce the pump speed cuz of that. At the end there was some fuel residue at the top of the hole.

Wraps should not damage the paint. it sticks very lightly and can be removed easily.

Sometimes I do have that. RPM at that time should be around 1k+ iinm. I would assume that theres barely enough power to keep the engine alive and either balance the clutch or step more on the gas.

No idea then. I recall that at times i do have such problems on 2nd gear but rather rarely. Earlier I tried driving at about 20km/h at Giant parking and didnt encounter such problems.

Cool. I will probably go to checkout for possible upgrades and maybe test the track driving a satria(if they have it).

I would say its due to Proton's history. Problems came when things like:
1. Proton prematurely released the Campro engine.
2. Power windows keep failing.
3. "Cheap parts" which brakes down easily
4. Since considered so "mafan" to take care so people tell others not to buy Proton.
5. Savvy problems.

Actually for Iriz, using RON 97 should give you decreased hp and torque cuz 97 is less suitable for its engine. This contributed to your high fc.

I agree. This is why I am afraid to drive to penang.

Mudah already has Iriz turbo kit. RM5999. I would not advice to put it on if your driving a CVT due to the max amount of torque the CVT can handle.

Isn't it in auto you press the accelerator based on ur needs. Sorry, Im not familiar with driving auto as Ive only driven auto twice(test drive iriz 1.6 and drive friends myvi).

Jam theres several ways to counter it. For me I tend to only release the clutch and let the vehicle move. If very jam then keep switching to N. If you dont press accelerator much(kinda like tailgating people during jam) then its more relaxing on the leg and also petrol saving. Leaving some space between u and the front guy does as I said.

certainly not due to the seat. I had that problem from time to time. Nowadays no more. I assume it entered when doors open or from AC?

1.3 MT Exec. Slightly heavier than 1.3 standard. normal go to work ~11-12km/l. Highway 16km/l. I use fuelly to calculate and keep records. Click the banner in my sig to read more about my fc.

Mine is calculated based on mileage. Also I tend to drive quite eco. Light on the right foot, low RPM shifts, and slow/moderate acceleration and tend to cruise at 5th gear. Only difference is when I'm rushing or when I just entered a highway and need to pick up speed then I will go at about 4-5k RPM at 3rd and/or 4th as well. Also I drive with 1-2 car length gap to reduce needs of sudden hard braking and then picking up speed.
