Just got my used 2015 ASX on last Saturday. Gotta say, handling wasn't too far off from the inspira i trade it in for. biggrin.gif

But i still find it difficult to adapt to the CVT. I'm not sure was it normal but the throttle was very sensitive when launching from standstill.

And because of that, for my first drive, 70% City 30% highway, i manage to get only 8km/L. Then again the 4WD system was on 50% of the time. Plus the previous owner had 225/60/R17 on so i think all of these factors add on to the high fuel consumption, at least that's what i thought.

Overall was pretty satisfied about the car. laugh.gif

the cabin smell problem since day 1 ar? is it affecting all asxs?

No, it doesn't affect all ASX as I do not have that issue since day 1.

I am looking for the firmware update for the original Infotainment (Clarion OEM). I think having firmware issue now. Sometimes the system "hanged" and the booting stage. My last update was version 1103.

Was the original from Clarion? Can't remember. Mine was 2014 version. So far no issue.

Town area i manage to get about constant 10km/L. Tried so hard to do 11km/L in full town drive but not gonna happen with all that traffic lights and jam.

I realize that fuel econ not so much difference with or without the 4wd on. about 0.1km/L or sometimes no difference at all.

Hi all sifu's,

I wish to enquire my particular problem which the electronics mechanic also don't know what is the issue but to change the light switch at the steering wheel as the solution.

Problem Statement :
The front & back LED (front white daylight LED and back red nightlight LED) right side only intermittently turns on when I switch (manually or automatically) on the light due to darkness.

Diagnosis so far :
Mechanic tested fuse is not the issue. Tried multiple times on and off and the light turns back on sometimes.

Any ASX owners here have changed all 4 absorbers? What would be the rough estimate to get it changed?

My wife's ASX is at 96,000km mileage now and the rears have gone quite soft.

got my one changed 4 absorbers at 98,000km...
