Dear ASX Owners,

How would u guys rate your vehicle:
1. Reliability
2. Maintenance cost
3. Fuel consumption
*
I'm a 4wd asx owner..

1. Reliability - 9/10
2. Maintenance cost- 10/10 (mine is 5 years warranty and 5 year free maintenance service, just the tyres are expensive, rm4xx per pc)
3. Fuel consumption - 5/10 (very bad fuel consumption, full tank RM130 and can only drive the most 340KM per full tank)

hope these help..

2wd CBU

city road stop go traffic i would get roughly 500km.

but that is heavily dependent on the traffic condition, so can't compare

700+km if on normal long distance drive

if on eco mode drive, can get over 800km (6-7L/100km)

your asx is which year asx? got eco mode? my one doesnt has an eco mode..

then... i thhink it is becoz of 4wd version..my fc is so terrible...a

not meaning eco mode, u just have to drive economically, no sudden acceleration and maintain speed and rpm

oic.. I'm driving an 2015 asx 4wd ckd version..
didn know 4wd and 2wd fuel consumption so much different..

I also driving 4WD version, 2016 model.
FC wise, city drive usually full tank would last me 420+ km, RM90++
If highway, can go higher.

It really depends on the way you drive, mine usually 9-10km per litre in city.
*
I'm so surprised about this.. My asx is 6KM per litre...
Is there any problem with my car ?

I believe it will be, unless there are no issues with the player and there's no need for the SC to dock out the whole player to troubleshoot anything. smile.gif
Mine full tank is around RM120++ and can go up to 650km+. 2WD Enhanced year 2015 here.

As many ppl are saying here, it all depends on how you manage your RPM and how you are accelerating at times. wink.gif

50% highway + 50% city

thank you for your reply. I am more interesting on 4wd version to reply with your experience on how far u can go with your full tank. I am driving very courtesy, mainly send kids to school and work. I believe it is because of the roads here, with traffic lights and all taman taman road. No way I can get to highway.. I just recently sent my car to service centre to check and they didn't manage to find out problems, they just reset my vehicle and told me to observe a few rounds of full tank. I am testing on my first week now, vehicle still with fuel, and the current record is 11~13L / 100KM. Only slightly better compare with before which was used to be 15~16.5L / 100KM, but it is still far compare to those who had mentioned in previous posts..

Just got my used 2015 ASX on last Saturday. Gotta say, handling wasn't too far off from the inspira i trade it in for.  biggrin.gif

But i still find it difficult to adapt to the CVT. I'm not sure was it normal but the throttle was very sensitive when launching from standstill.

And because of that, for my first drive, 70% City 30% highway, i manage to get only 8km/L. Then again the 4WD system was on 50% of the time. Plus the previous owner had 225/60/R17 on so i think all of these factors add on to the high fuel consumption, at least that's what i thought.

Overall was pretty satisfied about the car.  laugh.gif

4wd version fuel consumption is quite high..amazing that you can achieve 8km/L

Any ASX owners here have changed all 4 absorbers? What would be the rough estimate to get it changed?

My wife's ASX is at 96,000km mileage now and the rears have gone quite soft.

got my one changed 4 absorbers at 98,000km...
