Sg iphone price facing huge drop after 12pm today..lol

One of the reasons why you are not selling this round eh? brows.gif

Low currency exchange rates + scalper profits causes the phones to be overly expensive around the rm4k to rm5k bracket.

Reason being is because online store set flooded into market on the first day its launched...haha,alot dealer stop taking set from 2pm....
*
Because the earlier people who lined up at the stores a day before were mostly scalpers and hence the oversupply of sfocks. laugh.gif

Anyway, if you any of you guys are looking for a reliable seller, can always pm whereis the love. laugh.gif He is one of the regular iphone sellers here

Don't care bro about specs..ios still the smoothest even with last year a8 processor

All I care is battery life because my note5 battery life has been stellar so far..

Can't wait for gsmarena review of the 6s+ battery
*
Im pretty sure the smaller capacity battery for the S will not beat the battery life of the older 6 /6+.

Quoted for truth. In fact, I think we were too busy reminiscing about our iPhone purchasing escapades since iPhone 3G just now than talking about our latest purchase. tongue.gif

Seven years running and the iPhone Day-1 buying group is still tight as ever.  flex.gif Was much easier back then to get it on Day 1 than now, but you get the more genuine diehard users in line for the iPhone 7 years back than now, where these days it's permeating with scalpers and opportunists.
*
Agreed on that. The long queues, the fellow ifags u meet along the queue and the camaderie. Not to mention the anxiety of not getting the model you wanted so bad. the moment of truth when the staffs from the store comea out with the order slips for you to fill in what model and colour you want. When you get the slip is like hitting the jackpot and when the staff tell you that your particular model is no more in stock because the 2 dudes in front of you bought the last units. laugh.gif

started my battery test today morning.
so far feels same as 6plus.
as for the overall performance, to be honest, it feels just as fast.
might be a big thing for people coming from 2 gens or more back.
3d touch might become as important as pinch to zoom only if we get used to it.
no reviews on video and pictures as of now.
*
QUOTE(winkiedilwy @ Sep 26 2015, 10:31 AM)
Checked out iPhone 6s at Apple Store today. Don't like the 3D touch but quite cool tho, rose gold not so nice actually, and um... 4k video? 4k is the future but not the present. Camera can see a bit of improvement over iPhone 6. Overall nothing much for me.
*
QUOTE(Connect2USales @ Sep 26 2015, 11:06 AM)
meaning not really a must upgrade right?

Unless you wanna go for the rose gold option.
*
Sort of expected already. Its an upgrade from the 6 / 6+ anyway. Major improvement and advancement usually comes with the next generation of Iphone.

Will charging iphone 6s using pc rather than pw outlet will damage the battery in the long run?
*
Charging your iphone using a pc will only render slower charging rates and will not damange your battery in the long run.

went to maxis TTDI and the staff told me ip6s only launch 5 months later (sometime around feb/march) due to their iphone scheduling this year. I told him its not possible coz Telco pack their iphone plans around oct/nov annually, he say this year diff, other Telco's also launch around feb/march 2016. I re-emphasize to him that its not possible, and he say they receive memo's from the hq.... anyone can verify this?

did a full day 8am-9pm battery test today.
while it was paired to my AW at the same time, i left 3g on and was on the move, so not much wifi, did safari browsing, regular chat apps and did an hour of 4g hotspot. managed to bring it down to about 45% right now.
not bad i would say. if i'd been in office n on wifi more, shud hv been higher.
the touch id is lighting fast. pressing the home button to check my notifications will unlock the phone. its that fast.
the phone feels smooth n snappier. still haven't try the live photo or any of the camera functions.
for those wanting to upgrade from 6, i would say its not a must and no harm waiting for the next gen.
for those on 5S and below, its long over due, so go ahead.
*
I still need the 12 mp camera and the lightning fast touch id. In rose gold of course. tongue.gif

are there enough stocks in Singapore for walk-in purchases?
*
There should be ample stock. I saw some forummers here selling at RRP here at marketplace. Probably demand is not as high as predicted and the scalpers are releasing those stocks back to the market. By the way one of the ads I saw requires you to cod either in Singapore or JB, so if you are around that area then it would be great.

16gb ip6s is really2 a joke from apple..

QUOTE(Arvinaaaaa @ Sep 27 2015, 12:42 PM)
This I agree..if only apple change it to 32gb version
*
Well, if I were Apple, I would stick to the current storage. IMO the cost of production of the 16, 64 and 128 gb versions of the iphone would be similar or rather the same. In this case, which model would Apple prefer to sell? Everybody knows the 16gb is not enough for most existing Iphone users as IOS already occupies 8-9 gb of your storage. So its clever product differentiation to make you buy the more expensive models and in return higher profits for Apple.

This time around, stock in Singapore is so in abundance that retailers are selling below RRP. Ip6S 16gb is priced at S$1k ( RRP S$1048). No waiting and queuing required !
*
No wonder some dealers here are clearing their stocks at rrp. Death to scalpers! laugh.gif

No thanks to scalpers.

More importantly,

"iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus will be available in India, Malaysia and Turkey on Friday, October 16 and in over 130 countries by the end of the year."
*
I think they still have ample stocks after the initial launch wave and being so they could afford to launch it much earlier than usual.

Telco, life hard.... Hahahahaha I will stick to digi, my iPhone 6 contract end at 31 October 2015, hope they can let me upgrade without penalty or else I will get from other telcos..... 64 gb 6s,
Anyway, be careful, some stupid telco don't offer all colors or capacity...
Like last time digi my friend queue with me for 7hours, until one hour before launch, only know got which color and capacity, 6 plus 64gb and above only got gold color.... He wants space grey, but he queued for so long, so just take any color that got...
1 to 1 exchange, a brand new in 14 days.... For Apple online store...
Authorize reseller give you refurbish after you walk out from the store....
*
Back then during the 6/6s time, space grey was the limited colour. nod.gif

I agreen to that. Apple did the right thing this time by sending out the phone during thr first day of launch to buyers who purchased online through its website through preorder. This actually destroyed a lot of demand from buying from scalpers. Im not "butthurt" of others making a living but when these syndicates and even end users queue up to buy all the available stocks so that they can hoarde and resell the phones at crazily high profits, that where its getting annoying. I hope this round of earlier launch teaches all scalpers a lesson in not hoarding future iphone stocks.

You dont get preorder in Malaysia last time during launches from Apple Store. If you manage to purchsse from Aplke Online Store on launch day, you only receive your phone earliest 1 week later.

will apple malaysia have pre-order so we no need to grab online when its launch day?
*
QUOTE(yclam5729 @ Sep 29 2015, 09:03 AM)
My last year experience is telco get earlier than Apple Store. But one have to be awake sitting in front of the computer to snatch phones with others as the availability is much little. Apple has almost unlimited stock in Apple Store since Apple Store is their main customers priority is higher than telcos.

This year situation maybe better than last year due to its price and 's' usually is less appealing to users than without.

To answer your question, I think Apple only allow orders after the launch date, so one may not be getting the 6s(+) on the same week but following. That's bad to me.
*
Maxis' ROI was a mess last year. shakehead.gif I am more hoping for an Apple Store ROI like the one they did in Singapore

Im pretty sure if it can be submerged in shallow waters up to 1 hour means it would be splash proof. Anybody wanna try with the 6s/ 6s +??? laugh.gif
