If you are not going to use the new features in the 6S phones, why do you need to upgrade?
The way you put it, the 6 is serving you just fine.
Everyone knows the S upgrades are more under the hood than the overall aesthetics of the phone.
I upgrade my phone on launch day without fail for the past 6 years or so.
There are features which we use less in the S upgrades like Siri, but the Touch ID was the most successful feature in all the S upgrades ever, in fact it brought about an industry wide need for fingerprint unlocking on mobile phones. Not to undermine the fact that Siri brought about the need of Digital Assistants on phones like never before.
As far as the 4k video is concerned, prices of 4k TVs have dropped tremendously over the years. Its becoming easier for people to afford 4k TVs now. 4k is becoming a norm if it already isn't.

Point is, it's a business. And as how Apple deals with Samsung's manufacturing costs and makes sure that it's a profitable business transaction, so does other phone manufacturers deal with their phones having Sony camera sensors. Buy in bulk, price go down. Same with manufacturing in bulk. In the meantime, Samsung's always happy with being able to continue stealing Apple designs (hardware and chip-designs) when they get the Apple contract to manufacture the next A(x) chip. 

An Apple fanboy doesn't also uses Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge with Samsung Gear VR Innovator Edition, or the Lumia 1020 as well. My Gear S2 and S6 Edge Plus is also on the way, had problems locating a 64GB version of that S6 Edge Plus locally.
