my gf noticed that one fish is missing and looked all over the aquarium before finally finding it behind her desk calendar. we also very confuse how she can jump through that gap. dunno if guppy body flexible like cat or what.

aiyo, what happened? i think likely to be jumped out and picked away by the lizard after died maybe. cos this happened to me before...
i see, how big is your tank ar? in order for your fish to grow big and fast and healthily, you gotta separate them, to be honest. or otherwise, you gotta put in a lot of plants for the fry to hide. and you must feed a bit more so that the food can reach bottom for the fry.

I gave 20-30 fries to colleagues across quite a few spawns but those that I kept turned out to be almost entirely female.

I kept only 6 fries across generations and it turned out only one of them is male.

guppy got so keng meh jump out for 7cm height and diagonal hole of 2mm wide?

never underestimate guppies too... haha...

but when your water condition is right, everything is right, when guppies feel home, they won't commit suicide.

my water level is often like only 2cm from the top. no casualties also......

sometimes the ratio is abit odd.... it is often because of the PH of the water.

last time i use to have like only 5 male out of 30 female from one dropping. dunno why also... now can get like 40-60 ratio. which i'm happy with... hehe...

I keep albino reds but frankly... I don't remember the particular strain.

Got them from a breeder here.... they apparently got join competition in Malaysia too.
