Heard from the wind about Maybankard. After abolish Priority Pass and PPL lounge visit, they are still not done yet! Looks like they might want to abolish auto AF waiver as well ! shocking.gif
*
i also got hear some rumours about the introduction of annual fee for maybank2cards. But I am not too sure whether is it for gold or plat and others.

agree with that 10 pages of spam messages.
But on the plus side, it may just help those who are about to apply to think twice.

How can they simply slap on an annual fee when it has been very clearly stated "Annual fee:Lifetime fee waiver" for these cards.. I believe they will get into trouble if they do so.

It's their card, up to them if they want to change it, but of course come with the risk, risk of losing customer.
rumour will still as rumour, unless it's true enough

Only local number at least that I'm aware of.
Why not working anymore? Already terminated? If you want to retain your MY banking, TAC is still needed...
If it is just that you can't receive SMS or anything that means your roaming is not turned on, just get your telco to enable for you.
Then, you can receive SMS. Receiving SMS is free.

No issue for me to receive SMS when I'm abroad.

U terminate your phone number already? I think MY phone number still play an important role to receive the TAC. I guess u just need a prepaid number and extend the validity for one year. Then bring It over to Sg and u still can receive the tac without any charges.
