i saw my name in the winner list but nothing in my online transaction.

is it still possible for them to credit the money into my old card?

because i have just upgraded my card a month ago. and a week after that i still received my cashback on my old card.

now i can no longer see whether my old card has any balance since they already removed from my all cards section.

Just talked with maybank customer service. Actually it was credited to my new card 5th Feb ago. The description was "Transfer Of Balance Due to Close Acc".

I thought it was balance from my zing card because i cancelled the card. That zing card refundable amount need to wait about 30 working days.

so i guess finally won something from Maybank.

Is there still any valid reason to keep this cc when there is close to no benefit in terms of rebate compared to what the other cc such as the Hong Leong WISE cc offers?

else, use for other places that accepts Amex. 5X TPs (excl govt, edu, insurance) can be accumulated and redeem cash vouchers, with avg equivalent rate of 1.25%.

if u want purely $$ cashback card for everything, then this Amex is not attractive.

really regretted applying for this maybank platinum/amex card. Got conned after reading the xyz blog stating that stupid card is the best runner up best credit card. The person who wrote it must be high on grass.

The review was few years back. It was the best card few years back and not forever, the benefit is keep changing.

I applied MACH to replace mbb2card, widely accept and not only limited on weekend like amex.

... and i also got Mach to complement with Amex

Whenever I have the chance to use AmEx for dining during weekend, I will. However, unfortunately the chances are pretty low for the restaurants that I went, so still MACH all the way.

Still I use AmEx to collect points when I do shopping.

Yeah, not all restaurant accept Amex.. Amex still useful for other retail transaction. That's y I still keep it since it is free for life card
