i am not sure about travel package but if you book MAS online, only RM700 one way. Total about RM2046. Cheaper than SQ online SD950.

Make sure u go to YongPyeong for skiing.

After my trip, I definately feel that Free&Easy is quite possible in South Korea despite complaints that they can barely understand you. That is because, I feel the whole trip is quite rush. Everland so big and happening, but we only get 2 1/2hrs to enjoy it. After queueing for T-Express (IS A MUST!!!), already wasted 90minutes. The balance 1hr really not enough to enjoy the park + photo session lor. Secondly, the skiing only for 2hrs. Im not complaining about the lack of it but I would prefer to have a whole day there where you can try skiing for one hour then rest and have lunch, then try again lor. Not like ours, where we only have 2hrs. Die die also wanna ski.

I m with Andrekua...those pakaged tours really leave me fuming every time.
These days I go with our own group, DIY to fit our requirement...If we have enuf numbers, it's much more value for $$..

good food, no or minimal designated shopping stops (tourist traps), max cultural experience, we( not the guide) call the shots for how long we want to stay at a particular place.

Going to do 4 days Jeju plus foc 4 days shanghai next month.

ah my 2nd favourite place in the world (after my hometown).

about 6 years ago (when i had yet to go to the land of the morning calm), i told myself i won't bother to go. it was the time when winter sonata was really hot. after go there and got to know a few friends, i was hooked. i've been there several times since and am going there again next week rclxm9.gif

it helps if u know ppl there. it's always a free and easy holiday there... basically to experience life there and see things as locals see. of course having locals friends and a gf there helps too! rolleyes.gif

I think the cheapest is via MAS promo ( if u get it lah)

Otherwise, China Eastern is much much cheaper , but not sure if it flies to KL.
I'll be using China Eastern, flies via Spore & Shanghai

Tiger Airways planned flight ( starts Mac.09) to incheon was postphoned due to economic crisis

4k . 1 wk. 2 ppl ?

stop dreaming. no money no holiday = )

Even if you travel yourself, i dont even think you have enuf to cover flight and lodging . let along eat and spend = )

if you follow tour. definitely not

you are talking about 2 ppl man . imagine 2k return flight. x 2 . thats 4k = )

Go to singapore . Its more feasible.

150 bucks x 2 for return bus ticket .

Roughly 200 - 300 rm a nite for a normal 3 to 4 star hotel . (possible if you plan properly) x 5 max also 1.5k.

that leaves u another 2.3k to spend, which is 1k sgd more or less

budget 100 sgd a day for food and transportation. . u still have 500 sgd to spend = )
