can innostel be trusted? i have reserved one of the motel and not sure if i want to pay 1st or not. I checked other sites like Agoda and Asia Hotel, that motel is fully booked on the day i want so I'm not sure if Innostel is going to give the room once i make payment. Afraid if they might refund and some charges will be incurred to me...
*
yes, they are endorsed by seoul tourism. also the follow up is quite good. i've done my booking and informed them about the late arrival, and they replied that they have informed the motel about it. but let's wait until i go there and find out the actual service.

i think should be quite valid, as the rate is given by the bak for 'cash' exchange, somemore is updated daily.

How you get 2.76 ? RM to won directly ? The problem is where to find exchange that accept ringgit ?

If 1USD =RM3.11 = 1,065.7 won

1000won=RM2.8383

Added on November 11, 2010, 10:16 am【Good exchange rate】 Official currency exchange booth → Bank → Airport → Department Store →Hotel →【Bad exchange rate】

Sorry, but how do you arrived at RM2.6627 ?

RM1 = KRW362.02
KRW1000 = RM2.7623

As of now, Cash selling KRW354.8 = RM1. Translate to KRW1000 = RM2.8184 .

Still better than Wawasan's.

The things is you risk not able to find exchange booth accepting RM or accepting RM but give lousy rates if you don't change to USD first.

Safer to calculate based on USD first:

1USD =RM3.11 = 1,065.7 won
1000won=RM2.8383

Anyhow, I will stick to the usual way. Bring some cash enough for 1-2 days and withdraw the rest using Malaysia ATM cards. I always get the best rate this way. Furthermore, bank like Citibank charges you nothing for overseas withdrawal.

I hope Korea ATM Machine display in English though! biggrin.gif

definitely higher than 2.9  sad.gif

don't think so. 2 months ago i use my maybank visa debit card to book innostel, and the rate was only 2.712, while at that time wawasan is giving 2.85. so it's definately cheaper to use debit card. credit card will be slightly expensive as the bank will charge you 1-2% more.

another option is to use ATM withdrawal. maybank charge rm8 per withdrawal, but if you withdraw more than rm500 then it will be cheaper than changing money here.
