QUOTE(blizzardng @ Nov 10 2010, 10:50 PM) can innostel be trusted? i have reserved one of the motel and not sure if i want to pay 1st or not. I checked other sites like Agoda and Asia Hotel, that motel is fully booked on the day i want so I'm not sure if Innostel is going to give the room once i make payment. Afraid if they might refund and some charges will be incurred to me... yes, they are endorsed by seoul tourism. also the follow up is quite good. i've done my booking and informed them about the late arrival, and they replied that they have informed the motel about it. but let's wait until i go there and find out the actual service.

RM1 = KRW362.02 KRW1000 = RM2.7623 As of now, Cash selling KRW354.8 = RM1. Translate to KRW1000 = RM2.8184 . Still better than Wawasan's. This post has been edited by niel: Nov 11 2010, 10:59 AM

Safer to calculate based on USD first: 1USD =RM3.11 = 1,065.7 won 1000won=RM2.8383

Bring some cash enough for 1-2 days and withdraw the rest using Malaysia ATM cards. I always get the best rate this way. Furthermore, bank like Citibank charges you nothing for overseas withdrawal. I hope Korea ATM Machine display in English though!

QUOTE(zstan @ Nov 10 2010, 09:33 PM) definitely higher than 2.9 don't think so. 2 months ago i use my maybank visa debit card to book innostel, and the rate was only 2.712, while at that time wawasan is giving 2.85. so it's definately cheaper to use debit card. credit card will be slightly expensive as the bank will charge you 1-2% more. another option is to use ATM withdrawal. maybank charge rm8 per withdrawal, but if you withdraw more than rm500 then it will be cheaper than changing money here.
