Just went to Maxis KLCC to get the 6s on zerolution, but got turned down. They say I have a record for late payment, but I didn't get barred from late payment. Being a MOC also does not help, so I don't see a benefit in it. Well it's not my lost Maxis

Hi KKautocar,

We are replenishing the stock at our Maxis centers from time to time. However, it is a challenge to advise you on the availability of the stock as it is depleting rapidly due to overwhelming demand.

Thank you

Hi Maxis team,

Just to check, i have Note 5 from the Zerolution plan with the optional upgrade fee and phone insurance. If the phone is damaged or lost, will you issue a new phone ( or refurbished phone if damanged).

Will my upgrade feature still be valid?

Hi,

No matter what happens to your phone during the period when you are enrolled in the Zerolution upgrade programme, you will get a new replacement device within 48 hours upon approval of claim.

You can use the replacement device and return it after the 12th month. This way, you won’t have to worry about your upgrade fee being forfeited even if your phone is damaged.

TQ

Hi Maxis,
At last i signed up for the zerolution iphone 6s program. I've been told by the sales person that the free 20GB data is only applicable to new numbers. Is it true? because i read in ur website that its for all who signed up before 31st of march

Yo...based on my understanding

1. Yes, you need to complete 12months of RM164 payment then only you can opt for new phone change
2. Nope....after you completed the first 12months of RM164 payment and you opt to change new phone with Maxis, then balance of another 12 months of RM164 payment will be waived. The only thing is you have to return your old and good condition phone back to Maxis. Choose your new phone and start again (New phone instalment + insurance for 24months) and same for the subsequent year.

Worth it or not, lets do some calculation
iPhone 6s 64GB Retail price - RM3699

1. Zerolution - iPhone 6s 64GB
RM121 x 24 mths = RM2904

Basically you would save RM795 for your new iPhone 6s 64GB if your current phone bill is RM158 or greater per month if not just refer to the table below
Current Phone Bill -> Save on the device
RM158 -> RM795
RM128 -> RM 75
RM 78 -> -RM1125
RM 50 -> -RM1797

Don't be upset, there is a workaround if your current phone bill is RM50/78 per month and you still want to sign up zerolution because of the flexibility on instalment, you can opt to choose MaxisOne Share 158. How to do it?! I'm sure you have parents and siblings, just try to pick two of them sign up under your sub line in MaxisOne Share 158 (of course that they have to pay you RM53 per month for their usage *1.5GB data and free call to any telco wor....which is not too bad right*)

Now, if you manage to get rid of the phone bill problem not sure whether to opt for the *free* upgrade package

2. Free upgrade + Protection package
As I mentioned, after completed the first 12 months payment of device instalment + free upgrade + protection (RM164 x12mths) you can change new phone Maxis by surrender your old phone back to Maxis
RM164 x 12mths = RM1968
So you spent total of RM1968 to owned an iPhone for 1 year. From the other angle, you don't need to fork out RM3699 to just buy an iPhone but after a year it get depreciate so now you just pay the depreciate price tag which is RM1968 and you can upgrade to a new phone and continue with the new device instalment + free upgrade + protection for another 24mths

Conclusion
If your current phone bill is high enough at least RM158 and greater, keep your eyes close and just sign up tongue.gif

Great to heard that it helps. I spent few hours to understand the entire process of zerolution and try to dig is there any loop hole that we can take advantage...hehe

I found out that sign up zerolution iPhone more worth than Android devices because Android devices depreciate quite a lot if compare to iPhone

Hi beebee,

If you wish to take up a new device without zerolution package, the contract tenure would be either 12 months (for iPhone devices) or 24 months (for all our device offering).

Thank you
