fossil.... bought the trifold, after stuffing in all my notes and cards at the counter right after payment, it just ripped apart when i tried to fold it to put in my pocket while one of the staff watches as it happens.  sweat.gif  no replacement as this is considered as "wear and tear" too.
.....The fastest ever record for an item to perish right after i paid for it. (less than a minute)

cannot be consider wear and tear la..the staff said so? file complain to Fossil headquarter directly.. rclxub.gif

Looks good, edge was nicely burnished. Color combination looks funky, also choice of thread is kinda busy looking for me.

what kind of leather?

I just wonder why there are cutouts on the sleeves of slots, for thickness reduction?

Yeah the edges are nice. The pictures don't do it justice really. Apparently too difficult to photograph (with just a smartphone).

Outside is green, pockets are chestnut. Thread is anthracite (black) and doe (beige) waxed linen thread.

Leather is Conceria Walpier Buttero. Italian veg-tanned.

I assume so yes, to reduce bulk. But I think it could have been assembled better.

Do share again, when it has been broken in. Why not putting your initial, since its bespoke.

I'll try. It's not mine, it's for a family member. I was just a 'consultant', coz I'm known as the family leather expert lol

the problem i find with most wallets, especially luxury branded one these days is that their leather is thick and unnecessarily bulky. when i put it in my pocket and sit down, i can always feel my butt being lopsided given the size of the wallet.

sure there are minimalist wallets but most on hand look cheap and feel very rigid.
has anyone tried bellroy out? i know its not luxury but their images on their website looks good and their features are very practical.

Maybe you are overloading your wallet? Would you be better served with a wallet and a separate cardholder? I carry notes, coins, IC and license in my wallet, then ALL my other cards in one of these in my front pocket:

Anyway, check this out for a nice minimalist design:

Simple card holder from a local maker. Full grain leather. Hand stitched with Victoria Blue linen thread. Hand painted edges.

Today walk around isetan parkson Robinsons, I'm so disappointed at the selection. Somore mostly selling that stupid Singapore gold lion brand.

Wanted to buy bellroy at first but after I touched it felt so plasticy and low quality. Hope I can find some ettinger
