I am currently looking to get a wallet that could last me a few years (best if can go more than decade), but I am not sure how much such a wallet will cost.

I am not going to spend a lot on this. I wonder what's the toyota-equivalent brand (affordable for the superior quality) in wallet sector.

If you want longevity at lower cost, you need to look beyond mass-produced brands and to small makers. Decent leather. Hand saddle stitched.

the problem i find with most wallets, especially luxury branded one these days is that their leather is thick and unnecessarily bulky. when i put it in my pocket and sit down, i can always feel my butt being lopsided given the size of the wallet.

sure there are minimalist wallets but most on hand look cheap and feel very rigid.
has anyone tried bellroy out? i know its not luxury but their images on their website looks good and their features are very practical.
