That's a sweet one.. Browse their product and they carry Shell Cordovan wallet #399. Can custom and build your own colour preference with just an additional $10.  laugh.gif

Yup. And they rarely have sales as well. Last time they had a sale I snagged a #58 in saffron museum calf. brows.gif

Sorry too chimp for the words high technology

I want a simple minimalist  wallet that can hold at least 10-12 cards and 10 cash notes without a problem

budget should be no issue.
*
High tech???

You want minimalist or able to hold 10-12 cards? I don't think you can have both.

yo all the sifus here,

I am currently looking to get a wallet that could last me a few years (best if can go more than decade), but I am not sure how much such a wallet will cost.

I am not going to spend a lot on this. I wonder what's the toyota-equivalent brand (affordable for the superior quality) in wallet sector.
*
If you want longevity at lower cost, you need to look beyond mass-produced brands and to small makers. Decent leather. Hand saddle stitched.

Depends on the wallet’s design.

I’ve snapped plenty of cards with bifold wallets.

Irregardless of brands.
*
Agree with this. I now bypass the issue by carrying my cards in a card wallet in my front pocket.

Leather that is not soft la? Got it. Most Malaysian makers can do something like that for you. I posted a list here some time ago.

No idea. Never commissioned a strap before. If I was going to, I'd ask this guy.

Looks good, edge was nicely burnished. Color combination looks funky, also choice of thread is kinda busy looking for me.

what kind of leather?

I just wonder why there are cutouts on the sleeves of slots, for thickness reduction?

Yeah the edges are nice. The pictures don't do it justice really. Apparently too difficult to photograph (with just a smartphone).

Outside is green, pockets are chestnut. Thread is anthracite (black) and doe (beige) waxed linen thread.

Leather is Conceria Walpier Buttero. Italian veg-tanned.

I assume so yes, to reduce bulk. But I think it could have been assembled better.

Do share again, when it has been broken in. Why not putting your initial, since its bespoke.

I'll try. It's not mine, it's for a family member. I was just a 'consultant', coz I'm known as the family leather expert lol

the problem i find with most wallets, especially luxury branded one these days is that their leather is thick and unnecessarily bulky. when i put it in my pocket and sit down, i can always feel my butt being lopsided given the size of the wallet.

sure there are minimalist wallets but most on hand look cheap and feel very rigid.
has anyone tried bellroy out? i know its not luxury but their images on their website looks good and their features are very practical.

Maybe you are overloading your wallet? Would you be better served with a wallet and a separate cardholder? I carry notes, coins, IC and license in my wallet, then ALL my other cards in one of these in my front pocket:

Anyway, check this out for a nice minimalist design:

I would rather commission with any good craftsman using shell cordovan, probably can do a full shell with rare color.

Or Himalayan Croc?
