Developer dishes out CNY treats
BY TAN SIN CHOW
BUYERS of the few remaining units of EcoWorld’s Eco Meadows Phase 1 in Seberang Prai, Penang, are in for a Chinese New Year treat.
Those who purchase these two-storey terrace homes from now until the 15th day of CNY celebrations on Feb 22 will get a RM22,888 rebate on top of another 5% early bird rebate.
“This is our CNY angpow for customers. There is also a lucky draw in which three purchasers will get a further 3%, 6% and 8% discount from the selling price,” said EcoWorld Development Group Berhad chief operating officer Datuk S. Rajoo.
He announced the deal at the unveiling of four show units of Eco Meadows Phase 1 at the EcoWorld Gallery @ Eco Meadows in Jalan Paboi on the mainland yesterday.
There will be an interior design talk, live band performances and fireworks display from 10am to 9pm today. There is also a feng shui talk tomorrow.
At the event yesterday, two families who were among the first owners of the homes arrived in a horse-drawn carriage specially arranged by EcoWorld to view the show units.
With sprinklings of English-style elegance, the stately and graceful enclave of Eco Meadows brings a wholesome and elevated living experience to mainland Penang.
The 24.3ha project is nestled in the rapidly developing Bukit Tambun and is a follow-up to the well-received Eco Terraces in Paya Terubong on the island.
Rajoo said the gated and guarded low-density enclave exuded a noble and graceful aura.
It features classic architecture inspired by the stately English royal houses, set in a lush landscape of manicured lawns, pruned hedges, flowering trees and water features.
The 375 double-storey terrace homes come in sizes of 20’x70’, 22’x70’ and 24’x70’, with built-up areas ranging from 2,206sq ft to 2,786sq ft.
Prices start at RM758,000 up to RM1.17mil.
Rajoo said the project was one of the few gated and guarded strata titled developments within the vicinity of Simpang Ampat. “Safety and security are huge concerns nowadays.
“We will deploy our auxiliary policemen to patrol the neighbourhoods,” he said.
Rajoo also announced that Eco Meadows Phase 2A should be launched in March.
Also in Bukit Tambun, it is known as Eco Bloom and will be a mixed development project of 490 condominium units and 23 shop lots.
“It is now open for registration. We expect the response to be good.
“It’s a desirable address, and one that residents would be proud to call home,” he said.
The condominium units, priced between RM350,000 and RM600,000, come in three sizes of 800sq ft, 900sq ft and 1,100sq ft.
The shoplots are priced from RM1.5mil onwards.
Also present at the event were EcoWorld general manager for northern region Khoo Teck Chong, sales manager Eunice Lee and sales and marketing head Pui Kim Siew.
