Based on the earlier news reported in The Star on 16 April 2015

- EW owns 24.28ha in the area on which it plans to launch an RM920mil mixed development called EcoMeadows, comprising 50% residential and 50% commercial components, in the second half of the year.
- The residential phase of EcoMeadows comprises 3-storey terraces in a guarded and gated scheme in Batu Kawan, priced at between RM700,000 and RM800,000 per unit.

It was reported (and consistent with what I knew earlier) it will be 3-storey terraces ( http://www.thestar.com.my/Business/Busines...deal/?style=biz ) ... but based on the teaser below seems that EW will launch 2-storey terraces - change of plan? hmm.gif

Probably the scale of the Windmills is much smaller there, half of the video clip is not on the event but rather in the sales gallery and the public feedback.

EW managed to make it like a carnival and drew huge crowd for the Windmills event in Eco Majestic. Glad to hear Eco Meadows replicate the success.

No doubt EPHO helps but it raises one's debt leverage. Before getting into it, one has to ensure the long term debt servicing capability. It's like DSR, one may have low DSR but actual net cash flow could be weak.

If I remember correctly, it includes interest free for a certain period with credit card payment, refinance of your existing mortgage so that you can have more bullets for downpayment of your new house with EW and flexi loan. Pls check with the SA for details.

I see... how's that development compared with Eco Meadows? Does it have nice landscape, park / greenery, dedicated walkway / cycling path, club house or / and other facilities? Reckon that in terms of type, Semi-D will be upper class compared with Parkhomes / terrace house. However, I will also take into account all the factors into consideration when select my dream house, ie the environment, infrastructure, size of development, developer reputation & quality plus the aforementioned in addition to the house itself. That's the reason why some normal houses can be much pricey compared with others even though it "loses out" in terms of type (eg terrace vs SD).

Penang is quite a different market in the sence that it's not easy to convince Penang lang to buy sth - sometimes they just want to have the best of both worlds. Sth shared by my Penang friend but who has already been "localized to KL".

Taking Eco Meadows to compare with Eco Marina is not appropriate as much higher price was paid for the land acquired for Eco Marina. Further, Eco Marina will have see fronting view and is meant for developmehg into premium segment.

How many units open for sale for Eco Meadows?
