Sorry if this is a stupid question, but when I read the TNC, I can't see where "normal" insurance premiums are excluded, because it looks like it's only credit insurance?

Can anyone confirm whether normal insurance is eligible for rewards points?
*
Ya, Normal Insurance is Eligible for Rewards Point but last time HSBC excluded the Insurance
I going to edit My IN-eligible list now sweat.gif

Your list is so clear and systematic. Thanks!

Yeh, insurance is excluded by many CC, so I'm actually quite surprised that Citibank allow it, given they have so many other exclusions.  My family insurance is payable on an annual basis so I'm deciding whether I should charge it all to Citibank Premiermiles, or play it safe and charge to Aeon. RM36k due in Jan 2017, so I'm still wondering which card to use.

Would be great if someone (especially those who pay monthly insurance via Citibank cc) could confirm if any points awarded for insurance premiums.
*
So far I Can confirm to you UOB, OCBC, MBB got RP/CB for Insurance payment bcos I punya Insurance is on Auto Debit with these Card... nod.gif And, I Believe you got an UOB Lady's Solitaire Card, rite..??? Why not charge your insurance to the Lady's Card, hassle less... blush.gif

Thanks to Sifus who replied me earlier,

I have one more question, I only activated Cash Back Platinum but not Rewards Platinum.

Will there be any problems? Like penalty or charges?

Thanks.
*
Better call in to cancel if U X want the card, why left it Un-Activate... nod.gif

fly126 is totally wrong, as in the Citibank Credit Card terms and conditions Article 2 (2) If you are unable to prove your minimum income but meet the minimum age requirement, we may as we deem fit, require you to place a fixed deposit of the amount equivalent to the credit limit granted to you, which must be maintained for as long as the Card has not been terminated by us or you

My evidence, http://citibank.com.my/cardstnc.pdf
*
Maybe I was Wrong but usually they don't accept even stated in t&c as Never heard PPL got Credit Card by FD Pledging from Citibank with small amount except with PPL open a Citigold Account with Minimum Initial Deposit RM200K & will get a Complimantery Platinum CC ... innocent.gif

Not sure on others, but this 48k was listed as the minimum credit limit for this card - can't remember what the others were.

So I guess the FD amount is equal to minimum credit? Not sure if the same applies to all cards!
