Getting Started

|
Hi all, i'm looking for a mainstream laptop with a decent graphic card with following criteria:
1. Preferred brand - Any
2. Budget - RM3,000 max
3. Usage (in increasing priority) - light Gaming (fifa16) and microsoft word General Microsoft Office and web surfing multitask
4. Preferred: - Screen size 13' to 14' will suffice, don't mind 15' - 8 GB Ram - backlit keyboard -IPS FHD Screen ( no TN panel)

Hi guys ! Need some recommendations  [COLOR=blue][FONT=Time 1.Brand : Preferable ASUS 2.Budget :RM 3000 Maximum 3.Usage: Light gaming and mostly work 4. Preferred: about 13 inches would do fine, not too heavy have to commute every day 8 GB ram, good cooling Your advice is much appreciated !

decided to up my budget, 3.5k , gaming gta 5 and dota 2, a lot of movies. Asus G551jw, im worried about the cooling and after sales service.

No comment on the after sales service. Asus used to be good in service but that was a few years back.  As for the cooling, this laptop has no problem on idle mode. Temperature ranging from 45-50 Celcius. If you are a heavy gamer, opt for a good cooler pad. It will aid you in maintaining the temperature of the lappy. If you were to look at just the GPU specs, GTX960M is the best you can get with your current budget and it is only available on this model. Hope this helps.

Intel's full-size Skylake-U specifications chart for MacBook Air  for retina macbook. so, there is changes with core M. low-end Core m3 6Y30 replaces the Core M-5Y31.  i bet, in next few years. i3 will be no more.  well, not sure. but its seems like being replace
