depends on taste... ver ka yes mainly more decals... like fighter plane hv lots of warning,cautions n etc written here n there.. it makes the kit looks less like a toy...
war machines are usually painted in camo / blend in environment colors... in ms.. other than those green zakus.. not many are camo colors.. there are some like gm sniper.. zaku cannon for MG.

if given a choice to choose if a kit comes in ver ka or standard edition..
ill take the ver ka and decide whether to decal all or just partially decal...

some kit like unicorn, sinanju, sazabi are already looks sophisticated with panels opening here n there n radical cutting edges.. too much ver ka decals looks too messy

i'm not really sure if Fighter Jets are full of decals, yes they have few big logos to indicate their squad & jet number, but i don't think they put so much decals on them, unless it's airshow craft. ver.ka purposely overdo it. that is the problem with Gundam Fix. it has nice sculpt good paint but too much decals.

not a big fan of the Unicorn New Type technology. i don't know what purpose those green/red lights actually serve other than telling others hey it activated it's newtype abilities and when it's red oh no it's gone berserk.

totally understand your feelings for something cant be explained, but decals also cant be a bit fancy for elite unit though as throughout the military in the 2nd world war plenty of fighter jets and bomber even the atom bomb gets a custom name decals...
I recon you buy from taobao with hd180 airbrush pen, but at this point of time the cheaper choice is preferred.

unless you ignore the low conversion rate can go for the much better expensive choice (mind that shipping charge for heave compressor)

for the cheap one you can get it below rm150, last time i got around rm110 include everything.

if you order the expensive big one should cost you rm80 for the shipping.

and believe me you have to try china purchase if you plan to buy bundled hobby paints and extra modding materials just to make your journey of gunpla hobby much more cost effective...
