QUOTE(falseapocalypse @ Jan 5 2016, 01:06 AM) got people collect rare gunpla ah? then selling it later instead of building it? WTA, u sifus bought mg pbandai kit? since the price of pbandai kit are gila expensive.. tempting to get 1, but how to know which kit are worth the price. most pbandai kit are different in term color of normal release 1. Whatever you like. They are premium so choose what you like. Their worth depends on you.

There is a lot collector that collect the box but didn't build. Also there is a lot of those that buy and resell for a higher price. Pbandai stuff is not that expensive, just hike up after going through middle person. So the price depend on the middle person only.

PBandai should include something exclusive like an exclusive action base or something..

Actually p-bandai stuff is not so expensive (most of the time it's the same as the suggested retail price of the non-p-bandai counterpart)... if you live in Japan that is

QUOTE(D-y @ Jan 5 2016, 12:46 AM) unless it is marked as limited or exclusive, normal release gunpla is probably one of the most unprofitable collectibles in terms of sellback value well even for a year 2000 kit they still produce it like CD Records, so unless it's a very rare kit price won't go up. since Bandai produce their own kit they can just take out the old mold from the storage and reproduce them compared to others who require 3rd party factories to produce.

QUOTE(heally82 @ Jan 6 2016, 12:34 PM) So you painted chrome, top coat it and then remove the top coat by polishing? What a waste of effort. Chrome layer is finer than any top coat. Even with gloss top coat, you'll damage the chrome layer by adding grainy layer on top of it. The gist is painted chrome is not supposed to be topcoated, hence absolute care is compulsory when handling. This post has been edited by :3mushy:3: Jan 6 2016, 02:30 PM

The gist is painted chrome is not stopped to be topcoated, hence absolute care is compulsory when handling. I actually tried chrome spray paint on the stand (originally dark blue one) and the result just look like silver, doesn't really have chrome effect. So... it is impossible to achieve that effect like the picture by using spray paint? so sad to hear this.. planning to get an airbrush, but wallet so tight ah..
