Yes that's why I ended up strengthening all the joints found in the whole arm length, which include the shoulder and hand joints.

Of course it didn't eliminate the issue, but greatly reduced the loosened beam saber handle armor piece.

My bad, should have mentioned all moveable piece.
*
strengthening the whole arm? meaning its articulation so that it is stiffer? how?

The hand's armour which holds the beam saber seem to be the issue with weight attaching to it...
if it is glued in(Destroy mode), the surface of contact of glue from the psycho frame and the armor are quite limited... is it strong enough to pose it with the DE Shield?

Use Blutac, you need a thin (very) but large piece of it and secure it under the psychoframe to attach to the arm frame, as well as under the outer armor piece. Hard to describe, but the gist is to put it where you can't see it from outtside.

The DE is worse than the claw cannon (normal Banshee), so do whatever you got to do laugh.gif

well for display purposes.. its nice to have the DE on the arm rather than mounting on its backpack...

mind sharing a pix of articulation n effect o f the weight on yr blu tac mod?

Your problem is the paint drying up too fast, partially dried before it landed on your kit

For normal paints, you need to use leveling thinner or add retarder to extend the drying time

But I'm not sure it'll work with future floor
*
my paint doesn't partially dry up before on kit, the surface is quite even, just you know there's those airbrush particle pattern when you airbrush which is what you normally want, but future floor needs very smooth surface or else it won't form a glossy coat no matter how thick i apply which i can't figure out the reason, it ends up like semi gloss, the future floor won't form a smooth finish.

btw is there anyway to fill up seamline and paint the parts separately? i know if you use normal putty fill up the gaps & sand it looks great but you can't separate it after that which is a problem if you have 2 different color pieces already assembled together and impossible to mask & spray separately if there's turning point.

like i said, that particle pattern is caused by paint drying up too fast, that split second difference in drying time makes a lot of difference sweat.gif

I normally set pressure to 1bar. Spray at 2 cm distance, mixed 1 paint to 2 levelling thinner. Mr hobby paints mostly. When i paint, normally press down max, but pull back lightly.
Maybe u need to try paint in circular motion? I did left to right movement before and seems like can see the spray pattern.

for the ultimate mirror like glossiness you cant lazy on skipping the steps, what i have done and found out that the crucial is the sanding and polishing every layer is sprayed, for example:

sanding on the parts surface at least until 1000 or 1500 then priming layer

after primed it have to sand at least until 2000 or 2500 then the desired glossy color layer

after color layer polish it with tamiya polish (the grade of polisher coarse, fine and finish will soley depends on your strength you put on polishing)

after all above you should have rather glossy surface, another top coat either lacquer, acrylic floor finish or even the taiwan mgm top coat is finally apply.

from my exp lacquer type you will need to put at least 3 coatings and polish it to get final glossiness, floor finish you might skip the polishing as it is extremely waterly. as for mgm top coat is very tough but even after applied basically just spray it and your done.

so for floor finish i think for your case at lease slight polish your color layer and put at least 3 layer of thin floor finish should get the job done (must be thin coz you can get it thick anyway, just to damn waterly)
