hmm need to consider coating.. still too noob for it haha... mostly i will have to pass coz too much work to do coating now lol

coating doesn't required a lot of skill, in fact it's very important to coat to preserve color especially white, hold the decals better, hide the stickers edges and overall looks less like a toy

HG coating i did lazily, put it in one pose and spray the topcoat. Lol.

true also... but i have to tear apart most of my stuff... just finish off the gundam frame itself during holiday, still got back pack and weapons to go zzz... maybe is hould try on coating those weapon to get a feel of doing it . by the way, can i spray on those metallic parts too?

i'm still learning too, quite beginner, i never spray the inner frame of my MG, only the outer parts.
Try avoid spraying those chrome plated parts, clear parts as the coat will cloud those parts and make it less shiny/transparent.

thats kinda bad news for me haha.... most of my gundam's joints are shinny metallic color ~.~ well let see wat i can do hehe... maybe cover those shinny part and spray it haha

haha yeah, was thinking to use tat then maybe do it limb by limb hehe... can spray on decal right? i mean those at the MG eyes.

Haha me too just starting to topcoat my gunpla after >10 kits later. Thats why got frosting etc. But today got sunny hot weather and immediately recoat those frosting and works like charm. Finished a can already.

I think it's really depends, i never own any Grandpa, most of the time i only see them from shop that have it displayed (mostly 3.0). I like how 3.0 has all the nice parts seperation on the knees, arm and such, but i never like the feet that is way too skinny. Between 3.0 and origin i believe 3.0 still considered a better model compare to origin which is rather simplified. I choose Origin mainly due to the bulkier porpotion which is more close to what i prefer laugh.gif

Anyway drooling over Sinanju rclxm9.gif

Answer is yes because it does not include the core fighter to form its body, more movement capabilities

no laa, 1 can for 8hg's & 1mg.. 1hg & mg do double coat cuz of the frosting issue sweat.gif
