Recently bought 2 sets of HG Gundam due to some promo at IPC last weekend.
Since I am just beginner into this modelling, is it advisable to use some glue to the plastic parts? If do so, what type of glue is needed? And how much to apply?

hi sifus, my case here is a bit specific. i have been building SD gundam during my school days and stop for sometimes until recently i bought myself a MG strike freedom gundam burst mode. anything i need to be careful building this guy since i have no experience other than SD gundam -.-" and i saw youtube review, the guy said the gold colour of the joints are different from other parts therefore we might need to touch up with gold gundam marker... any idea how much it cost and where to get it ?
looks like i do follow the SOP, buy and regret later.... worried i cant finish or break this MG -.-"
Just be extra careful since more parts means the rigidity is less, but nothing to be afraid of. Extra careful means more time spent to do, and that is better than a rushed job.
Gundam gold marker usually costs around 15-20 these days.
The wing mechanism is abit fragile. Pay extra attention when u put it together. If it broke the wing wont open symmetrically.
The gold marker will not achieve the same shine as the chrome gold. It sure as hell better then the puke gold that comes with the plastic, but know that its tone will not match 100%. The marker is about 20bucks. If u wan to try i would suggest u to get a spray can of bosny gold instead, much better then the marker and u hav the option to spray all the gold parts with the same paint to achieve a match.

yeah i did saw on utube that the it wont shine as chrome gold. what im afraid is i cant find the spray that matches the chrone gold of the hand as i do not wish to spray the hand part -,-" and noob like me might over spray and cost the joint too thick.
ish... sudd felt like should start with HG instead of MG.... at least i wont feel the pain so much if i screw up....
hmm thats cool, then i might try to buy stuff from japan too hehe... any idea about local online store? their packaging good also ? coz i buy stuff from china/malaysia, end up my box always damaged. hate pos laju, even dmg one of my pewter cup... bought 1 pair, ended up 1 ok and the other 1 dmg and out of shape.
i didnt make those military ppl ..i just wanna buy and put with my 1/144 gundam ...but im not sure which military size i should buy

maybe u can buy those 1/72 or something like tat to pair with ur PG1/60 la... but 1/70 with 1/44 gundam... i think that human already half the leg height of ur gundam liao lu. it snot wrong, but u will feel tat ur gundam become so small hehe.
too bad barbatos only got 1/144 right now ..and im not in japan so i cant buy MG
yep 1/72 is smaller, but when u put it with ur gunpla. that 1/72 consider quite big, 144 human should be around 1~1.5cm only ba, but ur 1/72 might be around 3cm +- .... 144 gunpla if not mistaken is around 15 cm + -. ratio not really correct only, u can still do that hehe...
ahh too far from my place.... oh well just keep my money and get my mg red frame next year hehe... hopefully i can cure my poison beefore i jump into PG or p-bandai.
their expo price seems quite ok to me ... maybe im newb. i did visit their shop at sg wang, but havent even open for biz at 11.30am... so end up going to gamerarena to have a peek.
all these 4 use to be under my consideration too but now decided not to take any of them.
hyaku shiki... if it is in RG then i will get plus with Mk ii together. sinanju stein is almost like sinanju, since i ad hv sinanju, so i skip. hi-nu for me the color is plain. skip. rezel type c, hg seems better for me. bcz dun like the 'rectangle' form.

lol yeah i wanna get RG wing Ew + RG red frame. but i saw MG red frame big sword very nice... so im aiming for MG red frame ahaha... but i have hard time to decide RG or MG wing EW now zzz...
what expo items available at the warehouse sales ?
i guess those normal kits that they bought for expo. not sure if they wwill sell expo kits there or not, if yes mostly left rg exia only ba... coz during last day of expo also left RG exia only....
