received sms yesterday evening as below:-
"RM0.00 Congrats on yr new UOB Preferred Plat Card! Activate yours card by 02/10/2015 to enjoy 2 years annual fee waiver. Call 0326128123 to activate. T&C apply"

then i call CS:"can you check for me the benefit different between PP and PM?
then he:"the card we offer you is PM card.."
then i:"but why? sms show PP?"
then he:"system show yours is PM."
then i:"ok, then when can i get the card?"
then he:"probably by end of this month.."

so if they can't send me on time before 02/10, mean i will not have the 2 year AF waiver?

and very weird, sms show PP and approved PM.

Can call CS and inform them if you receive the cards after 02/10. But usually you will receive before the date.

The other day I fun-fun go apply for UOB CC at the booth for their Free Coffee Maker & Powerbank... put in fake office address, fake mobile number, fake next of kin info, ..

Yet they still approved both the UOB cards, without any calls to me for verification. Received the PRIVMILES card yesterday. Today called in to cancel both of them.
I guess the copied the info from my old records with UOB (few years ago).
Pretty generous in Credit Limit too ...

Hi, i need some advice from you all. I have two card which is VOX and plat card. However, the plat card I havent activated and I had called the bank to proceed with the cancellation. The statement for this month still show combined limit with my plat card. Should I give them a call to confirm they have cancel my plat card or is this normal for the statement still showing combined limit? Thanks!

no, it's fixed 2% if you pump during weekdays and 5% during weekends.

For the weekend 5% cash rebate, can I ask if it's capped at RM500 of cash rebate per month (i.e. spend RM10,000), or capped at RM500 spending (i.e. rebate of RM25 only) ?
