so when to SC to check the gearbox due to excessive jerking and stalled engine (during reverse from D to R or P to R, non-cold start)

what a surprise, one of the spark plugs was damage which lead to damage of ignition coil.
the best part was, out of 4plugs, one was not from proton OEM plug
i was confuse because i only sent the car to Proton Service centre
a part from change tyres, battery, air filter and (catback exhaust)
never even once touch the engine parts.

had to pay rather than claim.
sigh

mine they say the (Non-oem) spark plug cause the jerking and engine stalled when reversing because that spark plug was damage which then lead to ignition coil damage.. P.S: that non-oem spark plug was not done by me...mysteriously exist inside my engine bay..hmmmm
after change back to OEM spark plugs, and ignition coil..everything start to look okay already

I felt so slow usually i drive 110-160kmh on highway

currently i'm using china/taiwan type of HU

Big screen 6.5" but i lost my AUX and USB function (china usb port only for thumbdrive)

reason change the proton to china because the MAP no update and Bluetooth kept on disconnect, AUX okay la, screen quite small especially i add reverse camera
but now feel 50-50, wanna go back to Proton HU...hmmm

i bought 2nd hand IRIZ premium headunit from an iriz owner
but he didnt provide the socket for the headunit

i'm car currently fitted with bosch headunit...how to install it?
if i go to any accessories shop to install the iriz HU.. can they plug it in or need the socket?

i try to do the 1tank challenge

mileage 100K
tyre pressure (2x a month, 33psi)
with traffic and aircon
drivng speed, about 90-120kmh (usually 90 or 110kmh)

avg distance i got (3 runs for 3 weeks)
450Km with 8.6l/100km

result might varies from people to people because i start to refuel when the fuel meter reached 1 bar (about 100-120km left on the meter)

its a fun test, now i know preve FC is okay la but i wish it can tahan till 600KM

i think some CFE owner did sell 6-speed manual GB on fb

try ask there, may they can share.

just wanna share/update my FC for preve Turbo

after 2months of hyper milling

total avg fuel: 440km
total avg fc: 8.8l/100km (~12km/l)
avg speed: 60-90 and 90-120kmh.

factors involve:
KL traffic (stop n go/slow moving traffic)
daily driving distance: ~60Km total per day,
custom exhaust: cat-back dual exhaust system
aftermarket air filer (works engineering)
hankook V12Evo2 205/55/16
updated proton ECU (proton specialist from FB)

the rest is stock.

i remove the mid-muffler.

i choose straight flow.

you can start join CFE and CVT technical FB group (quite active there for QnA)

been quite a while driving preve especially in city.

my FC avg 8.7-9.1L/100km (11-12km/L)

i refuel 4x a month (1 tank can last almost 6 days)

work commute about 60KM per day, total 300KM per week include stop & go traffic (50:50 City:Highway)

what do you think? I felt preve seem okay with the FC since i'm light-medium footed.

CFE stock spec (only did exhaust mode, cat-back design)

RON95, about RM80-RM90 per full tank.

about 465KM total range (50:50 city:highway drive, 60-110kmh, light-medium footed, KL traffic)

even tho on board computer display fuel mileage 7xxKM

straight pipe system plus straight flow muffler (dual exhaust setup)

pretty happy with it.

need some opinion

so today, my car can't change into gear
CVT warning light pop out few times

so instead put into D, i move to R first and see whether car move or not
and YES, the car did move as normal (no vibration or whatnot)
so put into D, the car vibrate a bit(mimicking stall engine), so i rev a bit and the car move

then I saw an old tered about CVT oil temp issue.

is it possible because when I drive up genting during NYE, it was traffic at the top and the car constantly hold the 1st gear only and can smell something burning/heating up

any suggestion on what should I do? send COSE first
and if need to replace is it okay or should just do Gearbox transplant (saw one did with ZF gearbox)
