Today, preve save my life

I was driving on north-south highway (E2),
Cruising around 140-160kmh, following another Preve Turbo
Suddenly, i saw a proton saga SV on middle lane was in doubt whether to switch lane or not.. So i slow a down a bit, but the saga maintain on middle, so i speed up
As the last minute, i was driving 160kmh at the time, out of sudden the Saga just swerved into my lane without any signal, immediately i applied emergency brake and literally my front bumper was a centimeters close of the hitting the saga rear bumper,
Thanks gods there was no car behind me and all the disc brakes applied and i can hear my tyre screeching as i stop from 160kmh to 0kmh.
That saga really A-Hole

P.S.. i didnt know preve have emergency stop signal

i didnt hear klonk klonk though or maybe because my music was loud that time..., but i do heard, screeechhhhhhh ettttttttt... all four tyres screechhhh..

yea, it stop on the highway with emergency signal turn on plus the Sage didn't speed up after switch into my lane, the sage move when i completely stop like 0kmh.. in was in the morning, that time there was no car behind me like literally no car..

i'm quite impressed with preve though, able to stop within short distance from 160Kmh- 0Kmh,

i used to drive myvi (2012 model), during emergency braking even from 140kmh to 0 still take longer distance to stop.

Good for highway and cruising

mine also the same.. change from petronas syn to Shell Helix.

i want to rectify something for my Preve
if i only need to do a check-up on my brake pad, brake disc, and some other area at COSE, do i need to make an appointment or can just walk-in.

i checked my tyre depth using syilling 20sen (non-gold colour)
for my front, i can see 3/4 of 20 but no 'sen' visible, but at rear i can see the 'sen'
should i change?

Have any of you guys encountered stalled engine
(preve CFE)
I start the car normally ( push 2 times, depress brake and start engine)
Everything turn on as usually , temp was good
I didnt rev or anything yet
But as i put into D gear
the car stalled with *Gear Indicator turn on*
Is it normal?

Same here, sometime the engine drag for 1-5 seconds with weak engine starting sound before come to life
Plus i'm not sure it occured to you or not
When i try to start the engine, there is a time where the engine struggle to start up, it cranked for awhile and went dead for a second, then it restart itself again (occured usually during cold start or sometime randomly)

I did check my battery status with SC during my 20K service
They said it fine
My car currently 1y 5m
Now waiting for 35k service

does HID plug n play suitable for preve projector headlamps?

supercircuit exhaust cost rm 1.2k plus GST
package: rear exhaust muffler with dual exit

EXSS exhaust cost rm1.3K
package: s/steel piping,muffler,with twin tips (he also mention increase of few HP)

K1 exhaust specialist cost rm 680
package: dual exit exhaust muffler... (he only said got hp increase)

i'm doubting whether to go fro rm680, or Supercircuit/EXSS pricing

budget, i try to nego if possible...

guys,

why when i Rev around 4K-6K rpm..
my air con started to smell the exhaust.
first thought, (air circulation was off) but it stayed on

did a couple run at that particular RPM, still smell the exhaust
i did change Factory exhaust to double tailpipes. (catback exhaust)
2 months being using it, then suddenly started to smell exhaust in the car when rev it at that RPM.

how is it possible??

It's not tyre smell
Because the smell came from Aircon
Especially when i rev higher than 4K rpm

P.S : it happen after i did my Aircon service with SC
