Ok, so guys.. Currently I am in COSE, so there is an update for Preve on the ECU released recently.

hahaha. I immediately ask them to update it.

Just my sharing.

Since I own the Preve turbo, I have been using RON 95 petrol from all the brand available in the market.

Yesterday I pumped some RON 97 oil into my car, about 40% RON 97 mixed with 60% RON 95.

To my surprisingly, I observed a lot of improvement on the car.

1. can feel more powerful on the pickup with slightly press on the gas pedal.
2. During the cool start, previously I noticed during idling there will be a lot of vibration produced. But now, it is very quite and without a lot of vibration produced.
3. During when shut down the engine, previously it is feel like somehow is rough. But now, the shutting down is very smooth, quite.

Just my sharing, although I have read a lot of article said that higher octane on the car that is designed for RON 95 would not feel any differences..but somehow after i tried, there is some differences.

Do let me know if any of you got tested the RON97 and the differences with RON 95.

relax bro... the key fob things.. is for security.

dunno where i read, for those with start stop button without keyfob. they are tend to be stolen as the ecu is actively looking for the signal (range few meters, even outside of the car).. where someone use this as weak point to stole the car..

i think is comments from the few months ago stolen vios in kl.
wait for another year... geely introduce another turbo sedan..

Can anyone recommend what parts need to be replaced for preve year of 2012?

Ive been driving it for 6 years now and the only problems i had was the aircond condenser fan (replaced 2 times). Other than that all is well.

Just asking i have just changed my front bumper last month after my preve hit strayed dog 

After changing that front bumper at my uncle's workshop, i notice the front sensor always making a beep noise when i speed over 100km/h or whenever my car hit the bump/hole on the road.

Is this normal? before this there is no such frequent beep sensor sound 

Can that front sensor be troubleshooted?

Deswai...ayam not sure ahaha...just got the car from my father  ...i suppose got rear sensor only?

Already solved my problem....apparently the hood sensor is the cause of that sound. Just found out its screw and position is not tighten enuf. Deswai always keep vibrating 

i never use the built in gps navigation in that Bosch Car Multimedia Player .. as the map dated back on 2012. totally rubbish.

i dont know if the engine struggling because going to 120kmh on flat road only goes up to 3krpm. but noise is the same at 4krpm @ 140kmh.

before this regularly drive my family 2012 honda city. balik kampung kl-kedah need around 1 and half tank for 500ish km. 3/4 tank preve for kl-kuantan 600km doesnt look bad. not to mention hill climb around genting sempah. but on city, preve is the worst i ever drive

I think preve turbo hit 120km/h at 2.5k rpm

Don't think so, it's always been 2.5k to me. If it hits 3k at 120, then something is not right.

12.5 km per liter is the best Preve can get. Don't buy Preve and expecting good FC, u will regret it.

Checked with lokatoo and the lady said Preve does not use lokatoo for the GPS.

No wonder when I went through their software selection, I could not find Preve in there.

Like to know which GPS are you using in your Preve? Once I know what it is, then I can follow from there. My SC here does not know. Pity!

Mine is Bosch HU.

Will check it out and see if the tracking no on the sd card is of the same format as in Malsingmaps. If the same, then mine is like yours. My sd tracking no is of diff format compared to Lokatoo's.
