i have a concern using the pen. my finger keep pressing on the button while writing. may be the way i hold the pen. anyone else has this issue? is it possible to disable the button temporarily?

I just realised I cannot access to The Store after upgrading to Windows10. Just blank screen on clicking Store and keeps exiting. Could someone kindly advise if you know the problem and solution? TQ.

It is a known issue happening world wide on both pc and mobile right now. Still waiting for updates from microsoft on what is happening

I also have the same problem. Sometimes feel very frustrated using the pen when accidentally press the pen button in the middle.

I will normally just rotate the pen so that the button is nowhere near my finger...

but it would be a hassle in doodling or sketching...

I actly love the surface pen design wise more..but havent own one so nt sure about performance..btw from what i read is surface have more use for a pen as it can use full desktop while ipad can only use limited apps that cant even do the full job

Surface have full desktop app for real production while iPad need depend on the App Store for any useful app and not that ideal for production.:

Actually, marketplace model is much more effective compared to other means of distribution. That's why Steam is so popular and Apple's App Store is successful in mobile environment.

application wise, I saw it just as similar. Just so happen x86 and Windows has been around so long many devs and user already in the ecosystem so many tools has been developed for it. Without good programs, Windows is still a bad productivity tool. Without programs that support the surface pen properly, the pen is just as useful as a finger or a mouse. Same goes with iPad Pro or Galaxy Note lineup. The stylus is as good as finger or mouse if the app doesn't support it properly.

Since this is first attempt of Apple at stylus, sure not many app support the Pencil but actually there are a lot of apps that support third party stylus in Apple ecosystem. The devs just need to update their app to support another stylus, the Pencil. To be honest, I wouldnt worry about app support in Apple ecosystem at all....

While I agree iOS does not really fit as real productivity tools as of this moment, but for richfag iPad Pro actually is capable to compliment their MacBook or iMac for quick annotation (eg in meeting with client) and note taking and many iPad users has been doing this with third party stylus. While Apple try to market iPad Pro as one device fits all, they might not be super successful with that.
