QUOTE(BigMan123 @ Aug 9 2015, 09:34 PM) Yeah but the fact that it is also a touch screen tablet, it is susceptible to scuffs and scratches. Thus a screen protector is not out of the equation for the Surface which is not a laptop per se. |

I just realised I cannot access to The Store after upgrading to Windows10. Just blank screen on clicking Store and keeps exiting. Could someone kindly advise if you know the problem and solution? TQ.

QUOTE(jychow @ Nov 24 2015, 10:12 PM) for those Surface 3 users who have upgraded to Windows 10 TH2, it is better to update the drivers and firmware to Nov release. I had some issue with battery loss during standby after updated to Windows 10. After applying the Nov firmware update, the battery life during standby has improved tremendously. Will all these be prompted in the unit itself like other updates where we can update from within(ota)? TQ.The link is here Surface 3 WIFI Nov update Sorry if it is old news. Cheers. |

QUOTE(Savor_Savvy @ Jan 8 2016, 06:50 PM) Bought a new and sealed Surface 3, but once I registered the serial number I realized the technical warranty has expired and the hardware warranty will expire on 6/11/16. The seller says the Surface has a 1 year warranty with Microsoft Malaysia. Can anyone confirm this? Firstly, is the seller a reputable and reliable one? Reason I say this is I doubt what he said very much cause I believe all MS gadgets are in their system already and that would be what they will base the warranty on. Unscrupulous sellers can always re-seal any items. And should I upgrade it to Win 10? 64gb/4gb model Suggest you check with Microsoft and give notice to the seller that you will return the unit to them if it is proven to be not new. |

QUOTE(cylon @ Jan 9 2016, 08:40 PM) Let use our brain for a while..if i bought it sealed today but never open.10 years later i want to claim warranty for whatever reason, do you think the warranty still applies? If you have one, you would know where I was coming from, in response to your initial reply. Why you went off tangent is beyond anyone's comprehension and now you are endeavouring to justify it? Sheesh! The serial number on the product corresponds to certain manufacturing date, and sometimes when it was bought purchase information was relayed back to Microsoft. That's when tje warranty already start. |
