QUOTE(long3016 @ Aug 28 2007, 07:29 PM) nowaday, i go anywhere i also using 2 lock. one for front n one for rear.... heard so many case that the stolen of bike but.. if your motor is damn nice... no matter how you lock also no point... still can be stolen... your motor might be carried by small lorry. That why.. i really scared to park my motor in the public. Racing parts bought cost more than the bike itself. my friend's racing bike (machinic for YY pang motorsport) was stolen few months back. The whole bike was missing... no trace of any broken locks ! This post has been edited by wevilli: Aug 28 2007, 09:49 PM |

that guy was amazed on the exhaust. that why attract people to go and have a look. people wont steal like that.. people take aim your bike.. .. then will target you bike in the future.. that is the worst.

for now alarm might work... but next time when all the motor have alarm ... people wont care also... just like car. When the 1st alarm was introduced... when the public hear alarm, they are very alert.. then knowing that it was not a real sign of theif.... people also begin not to care. I hope you understand .

hymn.. maybe you can try 14/36
hard to say... you want pickup and top speed .. very hard.. you think superbike meh ? i know... if you want pick up.. then you will not have good top speed... if you want top speed.. you will have less pick up. get average is the best... try 14/36 maybe can hit 160km/j with the RXZ carburator. Why no put in TZM one ? |

QUOTE(fubu233 @ Aug 31 2007, 03:25 AM) just wanna ask a quick question. of course 20-valve is better... 16 valve means each cilinder have 4 valve ( 2 inlets and 2 outlets )a 20-valve engine and a 16-valve. which one better? can explain a lil bit bout this thing alfa romeo car.. and some other cars have 5 valve in each combustion chamber ... so 5 x 4 = 20 valve. ( 3 inlets and 2 outlets) bikes.. not quite sure which model have 20 valve. |

QUOTE(fubu233 @ Aug 31 2007, 04:22 AM) ooo.. icic.. the yamaha r1 2006 has a 20-valve, but the 2007 has a 16-valve oh... i dint know that.. because i dint survey... not planning to buy superbike for now. what i know is R1 is very powerful bike compared to other bike.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yamaha_YZF-R1 more valve more powerful... same like car... also.... another example is like 135LC... powerful because of its 4 valve. |

too much power ? maybe.... yamaha bikes always like this one.. haizzz
same like TZM... 125Z,,, 1st generation.. damn powerful... then they reduce it... make shorter stroke. Y1 head is the best.. then later on.. Y2,,, Y3,, Y4, and last Y5 generation. Added on August 31, 2007, 4:59 amby the way.. . i saw one TZM here in Switzerland.. almost the same.. but the back lights are different... QUOTE(xenon koh @ Aug 31 2007, 09:37 AM) actually wats the function of valve ah? tat day the foreman say my valve got problem ad need to repair. if know it earlier i should change to racing type valve ya.. when you open your engine.. must service your valve.... must do grind-valve. to remove those gum and tar sticking on the gap. if not will lose allot of compression. machanic should advice you whether to change one new one or can use back the old one. If you know how to see the valve ... then you will know... need to change or not. Valve that need to change when they are burned ! hard to explain ... i have many burned valve in KL. i cannot show you know as i m not in Malaysia. racing valve ? hymn...i not sure... all this while i m using original JAPAN valve only. ( RM 36 one ) Thailand manufactured one.. is much more cheaper... around RM 16 best if you can get TITANIUM valve. |

QUOTE(fubu233 @ Aug 31 2007, 08:56 PM) what so special ? it is so good that it wont "burn" because it can stand high temperature.. it is very smooth surface!! Yes can buy and use titanium valve for all engines. Just need money only read more at http://www.delwestusa.com/manufactured/titanium_valves.asp and http://www.tivalves.com/ they manufacture allot.... in sentul also got sell... but.. the titanium "made in CHINA" ... so i dint buy... sorry.. i dint want to discriminate china... but.. you know la.. its product. So i just stick to Original JAPAN valve. This post has been edited by wevilli: Aug 31 2007, 10:26 PM |

QUOTE(Shooterz @ Sep 1 2007, 10:18 AM) just to clear things up.. i m not using JAPAN titanium valve le.. no money... i m only using original JAPAN valve for EX5... not the Thailand one. if not mistaken... one intake JAPAN valve is Rm 36.. .. and the outlet valve is Rm 32 you can survey in Sentul. Added on September 1, 2007, 4:07 pm QUOTE(long3016 @ Sep 1 2007, 10:07 AM) what recommendation you want ? just tell him top overhaul.Added on September 1, 2007, 4:13 pm QUOTE(xenon koh @ Sep 1 2007, 03:35 PM) oh lose compression is it? he told me something like lose air. haha. the valve will be something like black colour right when its dirty? yes... lose compression. that why you need to grind-vavle. Must do propely one... got techniqueyou must watch how rally cars do grind-valve. those people working in motorshop... only simply do only... that why.. i do myself.. haha This post has been edited by wevilli: Sep 1 2007, 04:13 PM |
