Mmmm its the Polo Sedan facelift with 1.2 TSI. Basically they just bring in the Vento variants from India and assemble em here.

Yes its Polo Sedan. Vento sounds nicer aye? Should come in several variants - maybe 3 like in India. One might mistook it as a Jetta like the name used to be but wellll.. Indeed the Discover Pro retrofit is very interesting, with Carplay/Android Auto and such. Pair it with the reverse camera, and walla! 20k burned in a blink of an eye

So far im loving my GTi Mk7 but there;s something i feel missing which is this Discover Pro

I don't know - it's very tempting, and if I'm Najib's (or Nazri's..) son I'd do it in a heartbeat. Rationally I'd wait till the price goes down which, it should. I recall RNS510 retrofits back then were pretty pricey too. I remember playing around with the 2nd gen MIB in the Beetle Club - slightly larger screen with better resolution, more features and faster, to boot.
And then after the DP retrofit you'll want the side assist, Park Assist and KESSY retrofit (which will surely come) too... the pain ugh.

I also don't it is necessary. It is just my wants rather than my needs. Maybe a year from now the price should slice more than half I hope

One of the few who bothered to check first page, where I've shared quite a bit of info. Anyway, I've gone from a 97 map to a 95 map for my mk6 GTI. Modern mk7 GTIs are so damn fast these days, and much faster with a simple stage 1 map... that I no longer see a point dumping a ton of $$$ into the car to make it "as fast" as a mk7 GTI with a remap Been feeling quite tired of the car's sagging upholstery and my roof liner also coming off on the rear. Will have to send it in for fixes again soon.
