Easier to locate is in the Kampung Cina, there's few seafood shop, they usually have it. According to Google, is called Kampung Sungai Padang, and I so missed the Otak Otak and Satar there... Especially after dive trip... If not, you may googled up: Udang Galah King Restoran, Kuala Rompin and Gerai Makan Mak Ngah Udang Galah Sepit Biru. My dive mates used to go these place for Udang Galah. It feature the TheStar too Udang Galah I'm so far only tried once, not too bad... slightly cheaper than KL. And near the road site, there have many seller sell these stuff... Try "cockroaches of the sea" la, since its Lobster season around August - September |

WTB Mask, snorkel and rash guard or wetsuit. Which shop around KL/PJ has a lot of choices and cheap?
Already know Scubatex subang, Scuba station KJ and the Mid Valley one. |

QUOTE(mohdkakarot @ Aug 21 2015, 05:06 PM) Yes I did. Nowhere it says which shops has good deals or recommended. You already know about Scubatex and Scuba Station. If you do read thru the thread, you would know that these two are the most recommended for cheap and good deals.Just asking for your recommendations. Itu pon mau marah ke Go do research on which brands you wanna get, then check the first page again to see which shop carries which brands. There's no one stop shop for ALL the brands, you just have to visit them to check it out. Mask - Depends on your face. See which fits. Generally, asian face - Tusa, otherwise, go to each shop and try out the masks. Snorkel - We seldom use it. Wait for someone who does to recommend you. Rash guard & Wetsuits - You can even get them from Ripcurl outlets. It really depends on what brand you want. Otherwise, just go to Scubatex/Scuba Station. These stuffs generally all standard price, won't be very much cheaper unless you buy during MIDE. |

They mainly do snorkelling packages as well, I guess not many divers there. This time I guess not going with any dive center but just taking a dive package from some agency because i still have some other friends that is only doing snorkeling, hope that it is still fine... I will share here if i spot anything interesting there, so we have some new Payar info If you dive few days in a row and have a few people, nego with them for the price. I got some slight discount for diving with them 2 days in a row with 2 divers, and 2 snorkelers on one day. Most dive centers can arrange for snorkelling wan.
