how and where to view the free 3GB Spotify for Maxis one users?
Its not showing in MyMaxis app

Hi All,

You may follow the steps as per below to unsubscribe the Spotify Premium

1) Make sure the WIFI or Hotspot had been turn off from your phone, use only Maxis Mobile Data from the number had you sign up for the Spotify earlier
2) Click on the internet browser from your phone (Not PC/Laptop/Tablet)
3) Turn off the data saver if you using Google Chrome (Android) or reset the network (iPhone)
4) Manually type and access to <m.maxis.com.my/spotify>
5) You will be direct to the Spotify portal with the option to unsubscribe the service

Hi beebee,

Effective from 23 Oct 2016, the free Spotify Streaming quota (for Maxis One Plan users) had been changed to 3GB per month and you will only getting this if you subscribed the Spotify Premium service via Maxis

There is no more unsubscribe option in m.maxis.com.my/spotify. It leads me to the webpage with FAQ and difference btw free and premium Spotify. I'm already using mobile data and my cache cleared. Kindly advice on how to unsubscribe

Call customer service, tell them to cut it off for u. No point asking here or asking them in fb as they will keep on repeating the same crap like switch off wifi la, clear cache la, they only know how to copy and paste.

My spotify is currently a free account.
But i could not subscribe to the spotify family plan as it says that i am subscribed to other store eg. Mobile operator.
I am using hotlink, but the account had already been changed to free account.
Please let me knownthe solution as i am currently at oversea and i wont be able to using my hotlink data to unsubscribe it

I'm not sure.. I got the free spotify premium by subscribing to the 1GB data monthly.
It ends when the spotify promo ended by maxis/hotlink

Hi, I have successfully unsubscribe at 27 March and received message stated that service will last until 3 April. However the bill today still charge me for Spotify.

Can you explain?

Will next month bill still charge me?

If this is mistake, will I get it back? Is there a lot of follow up to do? do i need to follow up for few hours a day? do i need to drive to maxis center? or need to go maxis headquarter at KL? Im from Penang. If so, do I need to bear the transport fee myself? how about my annual leave for this trouble?

Hi, the Spotify monthly charge follows your first day pf subscription. If the last renewal has already been charged, that would be the last charge - as there is no renewal anymore.

Eg:
Last Spotify renewal date: 4th Mar
Bill cycle: 28th Mar - Charged
Bill: 28th Apr : Not charged

Trust this clarifies.
